Spent a few nights here with my niece on our first trip to new york. Firstly, the location is FAB! Round the corner from the ESB, Macy's at the end of the road, a 10 minute stroll to Times Square and Broadway, and 15 mins in the other direction to Grand Central Station and Bloomingdales. The hotel itself was lovely, the roof terrace was amazing with the view for the ESB. I was disappointed when booking the room as all the 'double doubles' were full, so we were told we would have a twin... but being America even the twin beds were the same as the UK doubles so the room was spacious, comfortable and certainly value for money. The only let down on this hotel was the breakfast. There was toast, muffins and danishes, yoghurt and cereal which was basic but sufficient. The issue was the amount of room. On two mornings we had to take our breakfast up to our room as all the seats were full. It would have been nice to have been offered pancakes or something hot and to have had the room to enjoy breakfast. But this does not put me off returning again as the location was amazing. Staff were really helpful and friends.
