For 70,000 points I booked a night here and it was fine for the most part. We had a view and did not get stuck looking at an alley. The Pigella (you cannot make this stuff up) restaurant is not our kind of place for breakfast, having paid $21.50 for some scrambled eggs, sausages and coffee. We moved to the Marriott Marquis and the breakfast there was $32.00 per person and the value was 10x better, without exaggeration. They booked some noisy buggers next to us and this seems to be a poor practice that all hotels do, except the Marriott. So, Hilton should learn from their competitors. Space people out. All night talkers are not appreciated and at least they toned it down after I banged on the wall. At 6am they went to bed or passed out. So, that's when I started singing, shouting and talking loud. Banged in the bathroom and whistled and slammed the door several times just to return the favor. Other than that the stay was ok.

Room Tip: Service at the desk is good. Advice from the Doorman and Taxi Captain worthless. Concierge knew things about getting around town more than they did. All in all, take tipping money, and mix 1's 5's and 10's for getting noticed, but better spent on restaurant tips.

Good Day Blackhawkjxx7,

Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback from your recent stay with us. We place a high value on guest feedback as it allows us to improve upon our hotel and its services. Please accept my sincerest apologies for the inconveniences you experienced as a result of your neighbors, and while we would love to space our guests out this is hard to do during times of high occupancy. I am glad that in spite of this, you enjoyed yourself as our guest satisfaction is our #1 goal.

If I can be of any further assistance now or in the future please do not hesitate to contact me directly. We hope to welcome you again in the future.

Warmest Regards,

If you are a member in HHonors, would like to stay in a nice hotel that is close to the Times Square and not so pricy, this hotel is what you are looking for. Everybody is nice in here, and the room is tidy and the bed is comfortable. There is a coffee-maker too.

Hotel is situated just two blocks from Times Square making it very convenient for shows, bars and restaurants. The staff were very friendly, the rooms a good size for New York Hotels and very clean. Would stay here again no problem

Room Tip: No recommendation. Stayed here for sleep only as sightseeing in the day

We booked the Bed and Breakfast package and it was worth it. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The location of the hotel is great--within a block or two of many great restaurants. Walking distance to lots of sights--Central Park, The Rock. Front counter staff were very helpful. The bellmen were excellent in securing transportation, taking care of luggage and generally full of information. Would stay there again.

Perfect location- a block from the noise and congestion of Times Square, close to subway, restaurants and theaters. Rooms are fairly large by NYC standards, ours had 2 queen sized beds, a microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. We were on the 11th floor on the 8th Ave side of the building and it was quiet, except for the occasional siren from the nearby fire station. Bathroom was tight and rather dim as the only light was around the mirror. It also could have used an exhaust fan, after a shower it was quite steamy.

We had breakfast at the restaurant, Pigalle, one morning and it was good but not great and rather expensive. We also had breakfast at the Olympic Diner, located directly across the street and it was pretty good.

My only complaint was a concierge who was unfamiliar with the area. We asked for a recommendation for a good Chinese restaurant, and he directed us to the Double Tree's Ginger. He admitted that he had never been there, but assured us he had heard great things about it. When we got there, it was obvious he hadn't heard anything about it since it wasn't a Chinese restaurant at all. He had given us a coupon for 15% off and it seemed he was trying to get people frequent the Hilton restaurants. Annoying. We found a Chinese place on our own using the Urban Spoon app (AA Jing) and it was great.

This hotel was a great choice for our family and I would definitely stay here again.
