Five locations in Manhattan, our first visit to any of them. Their website claims they offer the "best burger in NYC", and though quite good, that may be something of an exaggeration. It's head and shoulders above most big-chain burgers, but a bit less tasty than Shake Shacks offer (without the Shack's often horriffic long lines, though). Staff couldn't be more friendly; burgers were cooked accurately to order; fries and onion rings were both perfectly crisp-cooked (you don't find that often the case); both the chocolate and vanilla milk shakes were thick and made old school. If you find yourself walking past one of these, don't keep looking for the arches or the King. This won't be our last visit.

My 17 year old daughter and I stumbled on this on the most freezing day of the year last week, and were thrilled by the most delicious juicy burgers ever, really good quality meat. The clues were on the wall - great reviews from Zagat and The New York Times. The place looks very basic, but don't be put off. Great for a reviving pit-stop whilst you are sight-seeing. Delicious, happy memories.

My husband and I have eaten at Good Burger twice so far & will be dining there in the near future, for sure. All the food is cooked to order & worth the short wait. The food is always nice & hot and the portions are decent. The burgers are very tasty with fresh buns & the fries are hot and very good. I had the fish and chips, the fish is Cod & you get 3 nice fillets as well as a very generous portion of fries. Excellent fish and chips and burgers. We both think that this fast food restaurant is under rated. Give this place a try, you won't be sorry.

Certainly not the best burger Ive ever had, but not the worst either. I got a double bacon and cheese deally and it had some pretty good smokey flavor to it. The meat was extremely well done which sucked since it made the texture was a bit firmer than I'd like, but overall it was a decent snack. Not sure it's worth nearly $8 however! $8 for a burger, this city's out of control.
