What a great location! Right in the middle of Rockafellar Center, it was great to stumble upon Bouchon. I had the pleasure of visiting the original bakery in Napa Valley many years ago. The chocolate croissants are perfect. Light and very flaky, they are delicious without being overly filling. The almond croissant was a bit dense for my taste but not overly sweet. My husband ordered the mushroom quiche and wow, it was fabulous! The filling was light and fluffy with just the right amount of cream added. The cafe lattes were hot and strong. The only reason I didn't give this five stars was the lack of seating inside. There are a few bar style seats around the windows, but very tight and only few in number. The automatic doors let a rush of old air in with each person that walked in and everything would blow over. Than again, what did I expect? It was January in New York City. Still, worth a quick trip.

Superb view of Columbus Circle and the Central Park. Pastries and coffe are delicious, a good stop while shopping at the Warner Center.

This was a return visit to Bouchon Bakery for us. We had previously enjoyed both the location, which overlooks Columbus Circle and Central Park, and the food. While the view still impresses, the food seemed to be lacking and not at all worth the elevated price. I certainly was not expecting an average meal from a Thomas Keller property.

if you stop by Rockefeller Center or in the morning to the Today Show, enjoy a coffee and something from the bakery. You can also sit outside and people watch!
