“Great food on a Sunday night”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

Lovely place for a Sunday evening dinner. We both had the prix fix. The Mediterranean peasant salad was terrific and fresh and the Mediterranean meatballs were also excellent. The braised lamb shanks were wonderful but not enough if you have a big appetite. The free range chicken was cooked perfectly. For dessert I had ordered the chocolate nirvana but was served the Turkish rice pudding..and a good thing as I'm watching calories and was able to eat only part of the serving...I would not have been able to do that with the nirvana. Drinks are very pricey.

“Luxurious surroundings but typical Mediterranean fair”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

Stick to the small plates. Their versions of hummus and whipped eggplant were very good. The steamed mussels were served warm to cold. The croquettes were excellent. The entrees were less impressive. The hanger steak was ordered rare but came medium to well. The salad with chicken was disappointing. The Turkish coffee ordered without sugar was still sweet. I ordered the Semolina Dome which was heavy and had only a paltry amount of ice-cream.

Try the chef's tasting menu . Recommended !

Nice mezes , and the chicken brochette was yummy!

The restaurant was empty, to my surprise.

“Great Food ...will try it for dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012 via mobile

We were walk-ins at lunch time and hot a seat at the bar. Reservations are recommended. Three of the small 'tapas' dishes are enough for two people. The food surprised us with the rich light flavours. We will be back for dinner to try out the main courses.
Service is prompt, polite and attentive.

“Definitely worth trying.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012

Nice decor and great service complemented the food. I agree that the hummus was bland and needs more garlic. The phyllo rolls, however, are delicious, and the tzaziki very good. Our lamb aldana was very flavorful and tender. Desserts are worth saving room for. Good baklava, a yummy chocolate cake with apricot sauce and an amazing Turkish rice pudding. Would definitely go again.
