“Good Service and good food”
Reviewed June 23, 2014 via mobile

I am Japanese so I am picky when it comes to Asian food.
We were walking and saw this noodle bar and ordered Singapore noodles and Bee Hong Goreng. They were both very good and I was very pleased. The restaurant is very small but cozy!

“Outstanding”
Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

Best noodles I have tasted in 6 years, great prices and even a happy coeliac girlfriend who managed to get her steaming bowl of noodles in broth gluten free.

Worth a trip back to nyc.

“Watch out for flying Noodles”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

Daughters choice for dinner. Great portions, and you might be able to watch the making of the noodles, by hand. Stretching and cutting the dough. Many different flavors or dishes to choose from.

“Hot ballast on a cold day.”
Reviewed December 29, 2013

You almost need a shoehorn to get into the place any night, any time. Long and narrow, you may have to wait 5 minutes for a seat. If there's more than 2 of you, expect 20-30 minutes for a table to seat 3-4. The noodle dishes are reasonable sized though a bit spendy at $12 bucks or so. The tastes here are ok but I'd suggest you avoid anything with seafood cake as it taste processed and has the texture of a gym sock. If your looking for a basic hot soup/noodle dish, this place is a safe albeit mediocre bet.

“Great Joint Only In New York”
Reviewed December 21, 2013

Perfect combination of slightly paradoxical inputs. Went on a Saturday afternoon with my family during our one weekend a year in the city. Narrow place with a few tables in front and the 10 seat or so bar with the cooking station right behind it. Surly Chinese chefs behind the bar with almost no interaction with patrons. Very good looking hip friendly young black friendly waiter. Hip music playing in the background. Smallish menu (for Chinese) with all the best stuff. Prices reasonable - cheap for NYC. Food fantastic. Made quickly all in front of you.

Something like this is really what NY is about.
