I am a meat-lover and hardly eat vegetables. The pork sandwich is so good that I actually eat the pickled carrots & daikon, cucumbers and cilantro! I wish I could take the spiciness of jalapenos because it gives an extra pop to the whole thing. Love the pork bits that remind me of jerky. I believe Banh Mi Saigon used to be located on 88 East Broadway before moving a few times. I used to pass it's old location and see it closed really early because the sandwiches were so popular. They would just close the bakery once they were sold out! Despite loving the sandwich so much, I've never actually ordered a sandwich there myself... Never even been to the "new" location. Everyone knows that I love them and would pick some up for me. The bakery doesn't skimp out on the ingredients and the sandwiches are not tiny like some of the other places make them. The 4 stars is for the pork sandwich only since I've never tried the other ones here. It would've been 5 stars but they sometimes make the sandwiches really early and the bread would get a little hard and stale. Get them made freshly made and they are 5 stars!
