We were very pleased with the ease of getting to the hotel and into the parking garage coming off the Lincoln Tunnel. Everything about the hotel is small but very clean and very affordable. Accross from the Police Station so a few early morning sirens but nothing of great annoyance. Great stay. For the money, you can't beat it. About 5 blocks to Times Square and one block from where the action begins. VERY FUN TIMES!

Stayed 2 nights a Sunday and Monday nite. Great location, clean room. Bathroom was small (no problem). Pool looked good but was only open from 10am to 7pm. Free parking was a big plus for me. Told the person at the front desk when we left that I would give them a positive recommendation.

Like just about every other review posted here, the free parking for those who are travelling to NYC by vehicle is an absolute godsend. The parking garage is clean, well lit and there is a security person there at all time. It was tight and overcrowded when we arrived, but soon enough, I was able to park in a good spot. Also, this hotel is right off the Lincoln Tunnel entry/exit so you have no more that two blocks of driving in crazy NYC traffic - another plus.

As far as the hotel is concerned, it is nothing fancy at all. The room was fairly clean (there was heavy dust behind the furniture and the a/c unit was dirty). But, how much time do you plan on spending in your room? There is a pool (didn't use it). The exercise room is a bit of a joke, and the elevators were a bit shaky.

Again, it all comes down to value. Decent rates, free parking, close to Times Square.

The check-in people were very polite and quick. Security people helped with parking - the indoor lot is a pretty tight. Cleaning staff pointed us to our room (multiple elevators make it a little confusing). All were friendly.
The rooms were nicely decorated and immaculately clean. We stayed in a room with a full sized bed. The room and bathroom were rather small. A family of three (needing a cot) would have a very hard time fitting. There really was only room to walk around the bed. The windows faced out into the hallway (much like a motel would have windows to the outside), which was a little weird since people could look in at you as they walk by if you left the curtains open. Room service comes from a diner up the street. Again, a little odd. It comes in take-out containers with plastic utensils. The food was excellent, arrived quickly and was piping hot. We would definitely order again.
We stayed here to go on a cruise boat which was in walking distance - just a few blocks to the pier. It was also right near the Lincoln Tunnel making the trip in and out as easy as possible.
This is a bustling place and was sold out the night we were there. It's an older property. It's not the fanciest hotel out there. It is very clean and well kept and the staff is friendly and helpful. We'd absolutely stay here again.

Actually I stayed here in August 2007.
During my stay, I lost my cell phone and I recognized it at midnight.
I talked to front desk and an Indian man (I guess so) called my phone.
He said " A young lady(^^) answered. Will you go there right now?"
I answered "Of course!"
The man gave me a note of 'the meeting place'(Columbus St., I think,) and 'her number'
I took a taxi and arrived at 'the place'. I called the number and
an attractive young lady appeared with my phone!
I tried paying her but, she said "No thank you, I'm glad you found your phone."
I thought it would be good if I have a midnight date' with her.
However, she said "Good bye" and disappeared.
Maybe she was an angel of New York. :D
Also, Thank you Mr...... Travel Inn :D
