Great location if you need to be in Midtown. Yes, the rooms are small, but it is Manhattan. Staff was friendly and nice although to be honest, the guys seemed to be doing everything. The female staff I came in contact with was not knowledgeable of the area or the basic functions of working the front desk. Book ahead and you can get some good deals. I got a junior suite that allowed me to spread out a bit and that was still considerable less than hotel rooms at most NYC hotels. The A/C units are in window units and they ran the entire 4 days I was there. My room smelled a bit musty, but it cleared out eventually.

Stains on the walls, cheap glue in the bathroom, super marked up floors, false advertising on free wifi (it's only in the lobby, you have to pay in your room). Will not stay there again, and will not use "name your own price" again from priceline.

Great location, but the rooms are very tired. There were stains on the wall, the floors were beat-up, the A/C is just a window box. Dark, cramped, tired. Definitely not the 4 stars that were advertised. Would be fine had it been advertised and priced at a 3 star, but would have stayed somewhere else had I known what I know now.

The hotel is conveniently located near major attractions in Manhattan. While the room was quite small for two people and the lighting in the room was dim, the caring staff fostered a cordial ambience.

The hotel is exactly as it looks on the website which is great. The location is within walking distance to Times Square and subway. There is free wifi and coffee in the hotel lobby sitting area. We saw two rooms on this stay. The suite had a bedroom with a bathroom off of it and then a connected sitting room with couch and desk. Each room has a TV. The second room was a standard room with a bed, desk and bathroom. Beside the obvious size difference the bathrooms were the same except the suite had a makeup mirror in it and better lighting. Both rooms had safes which was nice. If you are a light sleeper there is earplugs in the sidetable drawer. You do hear the street level all night long. Its a quite street, but just a warning. Overall great hotel, friendly staff and great location. Area is very safe to walk around 24 hours a day.

The hotel is absolutely adorable and the attention to detail is clear. Received excellent customer service here and was pleasantly surprised by how spacious the room felt! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere very convenient to stay in Midtown, as it is only a few blocks from everyone's favorite tourist trap, Times Square, as well as the Port Authority bus terminal and New York Penn Station for Amtrak. Easy access to the city's extensive mass transit is also available. There is a great coffee place just down 44th called Gregory's which we loved and would also suggest stopping in at. The only real downside for this hotel is the views, as right now the front of the building is covered in scaffolding and the back doesn't really have any views to begin with. We didn't miss them though, and I doubt most people would. Our room on the 2nd floor on the backside of the building was very quiet. All in all an excellent experience.
