Soooooo....I recently stayed here with two other friends for a concert in NYC. We got an excellent deal on the hotel from Hotwire. It was $109 for the night.....we practically stole the room at the rate....lol. The hotel is in a nice location. Tons of restaurants and stores in the area. The subway lines (B,D,E and 1) is a half block from the hotel..Central Park is a couple blocks away. Check-in was a breeze and we got a room on the 29th floor with a cool view of the city below. We get to the room and it was nice and clean. Flat screen tvs...No bedbugs...lol..amen. However, the room was quite small..small for a double room..I felt like my friends and I were on top of each other....the bathroom was small..but that doesn't bother me as long as its clean and it was very clean....but I guess this typical of NYC rooms. I didn't sleep in one of the beds....I got the floor. But, I'm assuming they were comfortable since both of my friends were snoring....lol...But overall, it was a nice and clean hotel. I would stay here again....but not with three people in the room...two is enough..LOL.

Ideally located to Times Square, Theater District, Central Park, Radio City Music Hall, and Rockefeller. Subway station about 1/2 block away, or a short walk to Grand Central Station. We had a morning flight and were able to check-in early. The staff were very friendly. Even with so many people staying in the hotel, there was hardly any waiting time for the elevators. Stayed on the 15th floor and did not hear any noise from below or other rooms. The hotel advertises its recent renovations, and you could tell the rooms had a modern touch. We were given a handicapped accessible room, which was probably bigger than normal rooms, which is a plus in Manhattan.

Would definately return to this hotel. We were traveling to see the sights and this hotel is perfectly situated.

Although we normally prefer to stay at The W downtown, my husband and I chose this Sheraton Times Share location when we were visiting for the 2012 NY Marathon. Since all of downtown was without electricity due to Hurricane Sandy, we could not have made a better choice in hotels for our needs that weekend. Great location, as we went to the theatre one night, very nice room with good space for a Midtown hotel, close to Subway stop and not too far of a walk to the park.

Angela M,

Thank you for feedback. Despite the marathon being cancelled, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. Hurricane Sandy was a hard time for our city and it is great that you were able to enjoy your time here!

This hotel was perfect! My friend and I stayed here for one night. We had two beds that were so soft and comfortable. The room was clean also. We checked in at 8am and the room was ready by noon, a definite plus. The best part is the location. Metro stop right outside, close to broadway shows, 10 min walk to Central Park, and 5 min walk to Rockefeller center. Will definitely stay here again and have already recommended to several friends!

Sheraton Times Square is not up to the standards expected from this hotel chain... I stay in top range hotels regularly on business trips, but I found the level of service, cleanliness and facilities really disppointing.
Cleanliness: when arrived in my room, found some shirt packaging and price tags on top shelves, hair on the bathroom floor...
Comfort in room: although on 36th floor, windows not soundproof (gap between sliding windows) making room very noisy.
Reception: Long queue to check-in (after 10pm), even in the SPG preferred guests line. At check-out, staff didn't ask about my stay, feeling of a real factory process.
Bar: too close to entrance (just by the revolving doors!), transforms itself from a Starbucks coffee place in the morning to a bar in the evening, just a few tables, too small and internet / business center should be separate from the bar.

When we checked in, the room smelled of mildue. checked around and it was the shower curtain. i called down and asked them to take care of it. a few ours later when we got back from dinner it hadn't been. i called down again. they said someone would be right up. a supervisor came up first to see if we were having problems, i told them yes and someone was being sent up. someone came up and changed the curtain and sprayed - all was good. no reason this could not have happened 3 hours earlier when first requested. hotals must take cleanliness seriously - it is no joke. fresh rooms make or break the experience.

Stayed here as part of a stopover for one night only. The location was great and got checked in fairly quickly. We asked at check in if they could make sure there was a cot in our room due to us having a 13month old. We were told that they didn't have cots as they could only have two beds per room. I ended up sharing a bed with a wriggly toddler and thank god it was only for one night. Had to pay $5 per bag to keep between our check out and leaving for the airport. I would however stay again if it was just my partner and I but not with a child.

Didn't take advantage of eating there as it is New York afterall and we just grabbed a nice pizza at a place called Rays next door.

TheTravellingBakers,

Thank you for your review. We are pleased to hear that our location and property met your needs during your quick stay in New York. Unfortunately, due to fire code regulations we are unable to have cots in our guests rooms and we do apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you.
