Stayed here for 3 nights while on a visit to NYC. The hotel is very clean and service is very good.
We had a 2 doubles room on the 43rd floor. It was small, but served us just fine. Beds were very comfortable and the room had everything we needed.

Jamie B,

Thank you for the great feedback. We love to hear that you had everything that you needed during your stay and that our facilities met your expectations. Being in the heart of midtown is a great bonus for us as our guests are so close to the major NYC sites and attractions. We hope to welcome you back soon!

I came to New York for travel with my family. and we stayed Sheraton New York for five nights.
We understand that the room is very small, but we expected better service from the staff.
Housekeeping was very poor service. there was a dirty coffee maker, dirty iron table cover.
It was very disappointing poor service at the front desk, and bell boy.
Even when i called for the front desk to assist me to connect the internet, they forwarded my call to technical support. and They hold me for half hour,
when we checked out the hotel they overcharged us for the internet . After we complained about that to the front desk the Front desk guy's behavior to us was very unacceptable.
Also, The same front desk guy answered when we called for bell boy to bring the luggage cart to our room.. In addition, Even we waited 15 min no one came to our room, and we are getting late to go to the airport check in.we had a lot of luggage, and it was very hard to carry by ourselves
Even when we were at the lobby with a lot of luggage the Bell boys was just looking at us, and no-one even asked for we need help or not.
The only good thing about this hotel is Concierge. They told us many great restaurants around the hotel, and they were very helpful for us.

However, we suggest other people to not choose this hotel if they go New York.
People go for travel with great expectation, and even small things might make their trip as very bad memory.
This time, Especially when we checked out the hotel, our New York trip memory became one of the worst trip ever for us.

So here I am thinking that any 4 star hotel is going to have a pool... I stand corrected, maybe that's a stupid mistake. However, this place is truly in a fantastic location. The people working were mostly very polite and helpful. The facility was also very clean, everywhere. Well maintained. The rooms are pretty tiny, but it did get the job done even with an 11 month old needing space for a crib. The only thing we pretty much hated... Valet parking at $51 a day... The hotel was decently priced aside from that but the charge for parking seemed a bit excessive, even for NYC. Overall a positive experience.

What good timing to get room and breakfast for 3 nights at a great rate online. (AAA rate) Although their breakfast buffet was nothing to write home about, service was good and it removed one decision for our short stay. The room was very comfortable, small, but nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and great t.v. Check-in was not easy, and we stored our luggage until 3 in the afternoon. A second wait for keys was annoying, but we endured, and the comfortable room and great location made up for that annoyance. We walked in all directions during our visit - Central Park, Times Square, and all the Midtown points of interest we could fit in during the 3 days. Our visit just wasn't long enough.

Room Tip: Easy elevator access (express) for rooms 21-28. We were on the 28th floor. No real view to speak of...

The best aspect of this hotel is the location. So convenient to everything in midtown, like central park & Rockefeller Center. The concierge on the Friday night my son and I were there was fabulous. After a long and exhausting day, I asked him where he would recommend that was close by, kid-friendly and not touristy, and he was spot-on in recommending a fabulous Italian restaurant that both my (5-yr-old!) son and I loved. The concierge said he would even call ahead and have them hold us a table. The room was clean and the size is what would be expected of a NYC hotel. The only downside I would say, and I would agree with other reviewers, is the chaos of the lobby...all the time. So busy and the lines for the bag check were insane, always. But with that said, the staff were great and friendly, even the housekeeping staff, whose Interaction with my son was so cute. Overall, I would totally recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

So this is my second time writing a review for this hotel. I had to edit my review because of the misleading service i was given. Basically i went here for my girlfriend's birthday and we were very impressed by everything. The location is amazing, the rooms were great and the woman Molly at check in and the cleaning lady on the 15th floor were phenomenal. We had such a great time until i got home. Basically on the last day i went down to check the internet before 6 am and the free lobby internet was not working so i went to the front desk and was offered free internet in the room. She had said that the tech guys hadnt come yet but since she offered it free why not. I went to my room and my gf told me to call downstairs and double check because they might have lied and she was right i called and it wasnt on my account but the lady who answered said she will put it. After a couple of hours we had some problems so we called to speak to front desk who confirmed again the internet was free and passed me to tech support. When i went to check out the perosn took my cards said i prepaid and that there were no additional charges. The hotel was very fast and good even though they had a conference very impressive. So i got home checked my visa statement and saw they charged me. After waiting about 6 days when supposed to get a response in 72 hours they apologized and credited to me. Long story short always get names and ask for a manager when offered something for free or have them write it down. If this problem didnt happen i would have highly recomended this hotel but after this problem it leaves a bitter taste.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. The location is excellent between Central Park and Times Square and easy access to the Metro. The hotel was recently renovated, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Rooms are on the smaller side but normal for New York. Free WiFi is available only in the lobby.

Room Tip: Choose high floor, west side.
