Millennium Broadway New York Times Square
Ranked #288 of 470 Hotels in New York City
Reviewed July 18, 2013

Room was shabby - great view because it was a corner room.
Beds (single & small)- sheets did not fit- bottom sheet could not be tucked in at top or bottom resulting in sleeping on a bare mattress (pad slipped off too) pretty much all night.
A/C made so much noise it couldn't be used, but bonus- windows opened, but you did get traffic noise.
Bathroom just OK.
I would have rated this average had it not been for the bed issue. Perhaps, queen, king, beds would be better.

Room Tip: Be sure to check out the different room types before booking- some are better (updated) than others.

Just got back from staying 4 days in the "City" and it was great. Great Bell service not sure of his name but He was Domincian and he was really great! The hotel was clean and we recieved great maid service while we were there. Check in and check out was no problem. They even have a starbucks next door as well as a great restauraunt named BOND 45. I was running late to Daniel and the doormen arraned a SUV Escalade to take me uptown quick and it costed only 20 dollars. Concierge team were also very helpful.

If you want to be amongst the lights and the action of NY staying here will not disappoint! You are as close to Times Square as you can be. A great location to stay if you are out and about in NY as you are in between uptown and downtown. The hotel is charming and it does retain some lovely period features. The rooms are well sized, but perhaps in need of a 'tart up'. Our doona did not have a cover on it and the pillows were a bit 'iffy'. The air con is noisy, theTV is ancient and reception not good. WiFi is not great either. It costs $13 a day extra. It is free in the lobby, but so many people are using WiFi there, you won't be able to find a seat. A rude older man at front desk told me to "play with my toys over there", when I needed to use my iPad. Other staff were lovely. You don't spend much time in the room when you are in NY, so if you get reasonable rates, it is fine. Great places to eat are close by also. Gotta love New York!

I spent a night here with a friend and was very impressed! The location is terrific and the room was spacious - especially for NYC. The bathroom was HUGE and had nice accents (marble tile on the floor, etc.). The lobby/1st floor seemed like it might have been due for a "face lift" but certainly wasn't terrible. The front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming and had a room ready even though we arrived before normal check-in time. We called down to the front desk for additional towels and they were at our door within minutes. I will definitely come back!

Just returned from a 5 day trip to NYC and again stayed at the Millenium Broadway Hotel. Reason being the location is perfect. Right in Times Square and close to everything. Check in was flawless and we were able to check in almost 2 hours before the official check in time of 4PM. Upon arriving in the room we were met with hammering and drilling and sawing from the room next door. I really wanted to nap because the trip was tiring. Waited to see if it would soon stop but it didn't. Went to the room and knocked but no one answered. Went down to the front desk and they knew nothing about it. Left because I couldn't take the noise. Continued a bit the next day but after that all was quiet. That was an isolated incident and wouldn't prevent me from staying again. For some reason I couldn't get the safe to work. Called the front desk and someone from security was there to help in about 10 minutes.Check out was a breeze. The hotel could use some renovations as there are some areas that need to be addressed. (Carpeting, elevator numbers and walls were very scratched, wear and tear on the walls of the room, etc) In spite of this it has become my favorite hotel and I wouldn't sstay anywhere else.

Room Tip: Ask for a city view room.

Upon arrival at noon, our room was ready and we received an upgraded king room on the 39th floor. The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioned worked well and the bathroom was clean and towels thick. Check-in and out was easy and quick. The hotel made an error and had charged us for 2 nights valet parking which was quickly corrected. The concierge and theater desk was very helpful. You can enter the hotel from both 44th and 45th. Our cab driver took us around to the 44th St. entrance which added a few $$ to the fare. The location is great for exploring the city. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: High floors have less street noise.

The location is right in time square without the Hefty price tag. I booked as a mystery hotel on priceline.com. Was upgraded and had a great view on a high floor. Didn't eat at the hotel but staff very friendly.
