Well where do I start? This hotel was just wonderful, upon arrival we were very impressed with the lobby area, it was modern and very clean and just the staff on the check in desk were just so helpful and friendly. We were check in by a very nice lady and given directions to the elevators and we arrived at our room the 33rd, instantly we could not believe how wonderful the room was that we had booked, We had a panaramic view room and we had a wonderful view of the city . The room was a perfect size and was furnished to a very modern and high standard and the level of comfort was just outstanding, the matress on the bed like nothing i have ever since in my life, it was so luxurious and your body just sank into it. It was quite clear that the hotel had recently been renovated as everywhere was so cllean and fresh. Our bathroom was spotless with not an ounch of mould or fustiness in sight. The sink area was very clean and had everything you could possibly need for our stay.

The hotel was located right in the heart of Times Square and was just perfect for access to everything. We unfortuatly we cut our trip short as the weather was so bad and we just felt we couldn't spend the whole weekend in the hotel, as we did not travel all that way to New York to sit in a hotel the whole time no matter how nice it was. We will definatly be going back to New York for a third time in the summer so we will hopefull have a more successful trip and when we do return we will without a doubt be staying at this fantastic hotel.

If there are ever any bad reviews about this hotel then I just don't understand it as I couldn't find anything to complain about and anyone who can is crazy! My advice would be to ignore the bad reviews as thi shotel is just superb, wonderful and fantastic

This hotel was perfect! Great place to relax after walking endlessly!! Excellent location with plenty to offer. Just steps away from Times Square and very close to the 7th Ave subway and Times Square subway.

We had no hot water our first night in the hotel. What bothered me was that when we checked in at 6:30 P.M. they did not inform us of this. I needed a shower after touring the (filthy but exciting) streets of New York all day and being out till 1:00 A.M. That's when we saw the letter on our desk in the room informing us of the situation! If they had told us at check-in we would have requested to stay at another hotel location. The hot water was fixed by morning and the rest of our stay was great. Next time I will add this basic question to our itinerary--"Is there hot water?!"

We stated for 7 nights at this hotel and chose it for its location and based upon the very positive reviews of other TA members - we were not disappointed.
We stayed in a corner King room on the 36th floor with great views in both directions. All staff were exceptional in their courtesy, friendliness and willingness to assist in any query or matter raised. A special hello to Amanda who served us our drinks each night in the hotel bar area (if you can, try to get a small table for 2 overlooking the bring lights of Broadway).
I have only 2 issues with our stay, one of which is purely personal in that I thought the bed and pillows were too soft - I know many readers will be scratching their heads with that one and the other is that the internet kept breaking down and we were charged for its use even though we did not go past the 20 minute free time.
The location of the hotel is brilliant and we discovered some gems of restaurants just one block away in 8th Avenue. There are subway entrances just a block or so away and everything at your fingertips and within walking distances.
We would definitely recommend Artisinal restaurant at 2 Park Avenue for a fabulous frend dinner, however, it is not a quiet romantic environment and you must definitely pre-book.
We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute. Loved the hotel (I'll be back) The hotel is close to everying and has a terrific staff. The only thing to avoid at the hotel is the private bar (3 beers cost $30.00!) The better spot for drinks is Charly O's on the corner of the hotel (ask for the drink special) Avoid the comedy show at Charly O's tho' we went and it was the worst "comedy" show we have ever had to sit thru. If I had to find one problem with the room is the air conditioning and heating. You have no thermostat so you have to find the best compromise between hot cold and fan speeds.

I decided to go to New York to tie a marriage in with a city break in New York. We were originally booked to stay 5 nights in another hotel which just wasn't up to scratch. After the first night at the hotel I started searching for a nice hotel that had all the basics but at a good standard like a nice large lobby and somewhere nice to eat within the hotel as well as a fitness centre and swimming pool.

In the UK I always stay with ICHotelsgroup which are the Holiday Inn and Crowne Plaza hotels, they never disappoint. So I came across the Crowne Plaza Times Square and it was the perfect place to stay and relax . The front desk and cleaning staff were very accommodating and friendly. I was travelling with a large party and so we had two rooms between us, both with double beds. The rooms were both clean and cosy and the views were great, it was exactly what I wanted.

After I was married in downtown Manhattan we then had to find somewhere to eat for our wedding meal. We finally decided to give the 1605 Brasserie a try in our hotel and we are so glad we did. The service we received from the front of house was exceptional and the food was exquisite and very reasonably priced.

That was my second stay in New York and choosing the right hotel really makes the trip. All in all I had a fantastic time in a great hotel and would recommend it to anyone, I will definitely be going back.
