This was our seventh year holidaying in New York but our first time in the Herald Square hotel. After our stay there this will be our first choice in the future. Good location and great price. The staff were helpful and friendly. Wifi was good likewise the tea and coffee in the lounge.
We were in room nine on the ground floor. There was little natural light due to the proximity of the building next door which made the room a little claustrophobic at first. Hot water in the mornings was problematic. We were told to run the tap but after fifteen minutes there was no improvement.
Having said that, the room was clean and well decorated, the air con worked to keep the temperature just right, the bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.
Overall we made a good choice booking in here and will be happy to do so again.
