“My Home away from home”

I discovered this luxurious gem searching for a place to stay during the renovation of my own apartment in the city. Room size is wonderful and the bed so comfortable that I actual bought one for my home. Bathroom and overall decor are done with great taste. Perhaps my favorite thing about the hotel is it's very cordial staff. Nakia, Shane, Dennis, Miguel and of course John all made me feel like I was right at home. Enjoy!

I really enjoyed the low-key and friendly staff. My room was spacious and nicely up-to-date, and very quiet at night. There was lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby and the hotel is also very close to Grand Central station, making it easy to get just about anywhere. Loved my stay here and would definitely stay here again!

Awesome hotel, great convenient location, just 2 blocks from Grand Central. Great service too, right down to getting my hot chocolate made just the way I liked it! All that was missing was a full length mirror in my room.

We booked this based on the reviews on here and it was great. I have been going to NY for about 20 years and try to stay in the Murray Hill area.. This place never caught my attention when it was the W.. Nice big room on the 15th floor a wonderful comfy bed,. Bathroom was a bit small but worked fine, shower was good and the Molton Brown toiletries a treat The hotel was chilled and relaxed we did not use the bar but bought coffee on a couple of mornings.. A great location. The option to make a coffee in the room would be good as i like to wake up to coffee and not get dressed go get coffee then come back..Staff very friendly.

A wonderful hotel with a fabulous team ensuring every day is a perfect day! Special thanks to Dennis for making me feel so welcome! The location is perfect on a quiet tree-lined street just around the corner from Grand Central Station, the rooms are large and blissfully comfortable, and the staff are so friendly and helpful that you never want to leave! Thank you for a wonderful week in the Big Apple!

My girlfriend and I arranged 2 nights at the Tuscany at the end of a trip to the US. It was excellent, staff really helpful, our room was gigantic and recently refurnished. The bathroom door wouldn't quite close which we suspect was maybe because our room was designed for a wheelchair user.

This was heavily tarnished by a horrendous experience in a town car arranged for us by the doorman to JFK at the end of our trip.

We were quoted a flat rate of $65 all-inclusive. Our driver was certainly not a safe driver, veering all over the road and randomly accelerating and then slamming on the brakes. He often seemed to be hitting himself in the leg, possibly in order to keep himself awake as he sometimes seemed to shut his eyes. In addition, he clearly had no idea where he was going and drove around the airport veering from lane-to-lane, often driving onto the reservation in order to turn down an exit that he had already missed. At one point he stopped in the middle of an intersection to program a GPS device which was incredibly dangerous. We did eventually get to our destination and he then demanded an extra $15 for the toll road which was absolutely not mentioned to us up-front. We refused to pay this extra charge and informed him to take it up with the hotel.

It was a terrifying journey for my girlfriend and I and the very worst way to end our holiday in New York at the Tuscany which was otherwise excellent.

The hotel was fantastic, the reception "Shane" and doormen were friendly and helpful. The location was very close to Grand Central which is where most tours depart as well as being walkable to most of the city attractions. We had 4 adult women in a 2 Queen bed configuration and was pleasantly surprised the room was so big that we had space to hide all our luggage in the walk in wardrobe and not feel cramped. There is no coffee machine though, however there are plenty of decent barista style coffee ( by Australian standards) in close proximity. The Gym was well equipped and clean as well. Overall we were all really happy as we were warned about NY's hotel rooms being very small before going.
