We stayed 3 days at the hotel and found all the help solved any problems we had. The room was excellant and the service exceptional. WE were there for an Engagement party and the help made sure a Taxi Cab was waiting for us.

Room Tip: Corner rooms are wonderful.

My husband and I had a very comfortable night at The Tuscany despite noise from the hallway coming through the doorway area. Although the doors are quite substantial the gap between the door and the floor seems to provide enough space for noise penetration. I imagine that adding custom thresholds might take care of this problem. Our room was spacious with a walk in closet and separate sitting area with a mirror for women to put on their make up. Service was friendly and prompt. A tea/coffee make was brought up right away and immediate efforts were made to replace the leaky iron in our room, however the replacement iron also leaked. The manager appreciated my bringing this to his attention so perhaps the irons will be replaced with better quality ones. It seems difficult these days to find non-sugary breakfast cereals in hotels as The Tuscany demonstrated. Having a low-fat low-sugar granola option, such as the Get Fit brand, with non-dairy milk options would be a great addition for health conscious people. We liked the hotel and would stay there again.

We stayed at the Tuscany for the first time over Labor day week-end. We thought it was great. We had a special deal on the price which certainly helped but, we would have enjoyed it at full price. The room was large with a lovely view of the Empire State Building and downtown. The windows opened wide for fresh air. The location is great. Close to Grand Central and more.
We'd recommend it heartily.

We stayed for 4 nights in on the 5th floor and we were very pleased with the hotel. The room was spacious; bedding and linen very comfortable; towels fluffy and toiletries (Molton Brown) luxurious. The hotel is only a couple of blocks away from Grand Central Station, and $8 to $10 cab ride from Lower East Side, Chinatown/Little Italy. Staff were polite and when we arrived at 10am, we were able to check in straight away (we were very thankful for a chance to rest). I understand this hotel was recently refurbished and there are a few minor finishes to tidy up here and there but it didn't affect us. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at this hotel again.

We stayed at the Tuscany for two nights (Sept 6/7). The rooms was quite large. The bed was a dream, particularly after walking around the city all day. The location was great in a number of ways. It was walking distance to a number of sights, but far enough away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Times Square. There are a few restaurants and cafes right around the corner. Grand Central station is a two blocks away, not only a must see, but also access to the subways. The staff were very friendly. Their sister hotel is two doors down, and the concierge is located in that hotel. He was able to provide very solid recommendations for activities based on our requirements.

Overall great hotel, I would definitely look into staying there again.

Despite the fact I had to rearrange my hotel bookings at the last minute, the staff were extremely accommodating. We were incredibly impressed with the high standards throughout including a spacious, clean and modern room, well-equipped fitness centre and a nice cosy bar to enjoy a drink. The only suggestion for improvement is a request to serve continental breakfast using ceramic plates and dishes and proper (steel) cutlery which would add the finishing touch to the class of the hotel. The rooms were very nice, clean with a good decor. But it does surprise me that I didn't get a coffee machine in a hotel which was other wise of a great standard. The location was a bit far from the times square but still not that bad. Staff were a tad bit dry, could have been more courteous.
