“Most Space for the Price”

Could not be more central if you are visiting with a family with teenagers. Gray Line bus right across the street. Subways right there also. Walking distance to all of Times Square, Rock Center, Columbus Circle and Central Park. Not for sophisticated travelers who want the best. But if you need a refrigerator, microwave and space - could not make a better choice.
Internet is a strong issue. They charge by device - so add that up by how many kids you have. About $17 per day per device. Who needs that? And lots of issues with free wi fi in lobby.

Thank you for taking the time to write a 5 star review of our hotel. We are very sorry to hear about your experience with Internet in the hotel. We do provide complimentary Internet to Hilton Honors Gold & Diamond Members in the room. And the complimentary Internet issue in the lobby has been resolved, and it is working properly.

We stayed here at the end of March on the 17th floor and it was perfect, the housekeeping was excellent with lots of new towels and the rooms were cleaned every day, the concierge was really helpful about where to go and the location was amazing. It wasn't noisy at all for such a busy area.

We booked it at the last minute and were concerened as what we could get, but we're gratefully surprised, the staff was really helpful , the rooms were very clean, a bit small though .
The location is fantastic, so we are happy to recommend.

Room Tip: When booking ask them x the size of the room

My husband, daughter, and I stayed here on my daughter's spring break. Valet parking is a little tricky. I ended up calling the hotel and asking where to go to valet park and they simply said pull up anywhere and we'll take care of it. So, we did and all worked out well and cost about $45 per night. We had reserved a queen bed with a pull out bed. My husband's Diamond HHonors status paid off and we got upgraded to a king corner suite on the 23rd floor. We were so close to everything and what we weren't close to, the subway station is nearby the hotel. The views were amazing and they also had a very nice breakfast buffet. The staff are all wonderful, especially Lisa who helped my daughter and I score last minute Phantom of the Opera tickets. If I make it back to NYC, this is where I will be staying again.

Room Tip: Try to get a corner suite in order to get a panoramic view of Times Square.

We stayed in this hotel over spring break. The location is perfect!! It is right in the middle of Times Square, right where all the action is, in walking distance to Broadway theaters, tons of stores, Good Morning America, and lots of places to eat. Our room was on the 18th floor, and we had a corner room, with large windows on both sides which gave us excellent views of all the excitement going on down on the streets. From our windows, we could watch the electronic billboards, admire the architecture, and marvel at the sheer number of people walking quickly down below. Although we were there five days, there is so much to see that I know we did not see it all. The hotel was nice and clean, although the room was smaller than I was expecting. There was a futon-type sofa bed, which pulled out and that is where our two teenagers slept. There was also a tv, microwave, and fridge, in addition to the ridiculously expensive mini-bar. In the separate bedroom, there was a king size bed and a tv, along with a small closet and dresser. The wi-fi was not free to everyone, which surprised me. It was free to Hilton Honors members, and to customers of AT&T. I'm not sure how many rooms the hotel has, but we never had to wait very long for an elevator. You take the elevator down to the third floor, which is the main lobby, then you have to switch elevators to go down to the ground floor. As you exit the hotel, they will help you get a cab if you need it. For extra security at night, they require you to show your room key before allowing you to board the elevator. There is a restaurant and bar in the hotel, but we did not visit them. The first night, it took them a while to get our luggage to our room, but it was not a big deal and really that is the only negative thing I have to say. Even with all the noise and light from outside, we slept great. I put average value because although the room was expensive, it was probably in line with the other hotels of that quality in that area. We had a wonderful time! I recommend a trip to NYC for everybody!!! :)

Room Tip: When you check in, ask if you can upgrade to a corner room. Having two views to outside was awesome...

Traveling with my 19 year old nephew made the room design at this hotel perfect for us. I had the queen bed in the bedroom and he slept on the fold out couch in the separate living room. Both rooms had doors into the bathroom. Although we stayed over the St Patrick's Day weekend and our room on the 12th floor overlooked Times Square, it was a quiet room. The bright lights of the video billboards lit our rooms, but the drapes blocked it so sleep was not difficult. The front desk staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The location is excellent - an uptown subway station is next door to the hotel and the downtown trains are across the square. We walked to most of the sights, restaurants, and theater we visited while in New York. If you don't mind standing in like the TKTS booth is just across 7th Ave. This is a great hotel in an excellent location for a visit to NYC.

Room Tip: When we booked the only room available with a single Queen bed was a handicap accessible room. Altho...
