Nice size room with a separate room for my child. He said the pullout couch was not comfortable. We were on one of the top floors, so the noise level from Times Square was not bad. If attending any Broadway plays the discount tkts booth is right in front of the hotel. Nice security coming in from the street off Times Square. Lobby on the 2nd floor. Breakfast buffet good, but pricey $28. Had a mini fridge, free Internet. Excellent location for theaters, museums, restaurants, sightseeing, central park. In the middle of it all.

Room Tip: Get a high floor to avoid Times Square noise

We were in Manhattan in May of 2012 and stayed at the Doubletree Times Square. I would highly recommend this hotel! The room was very spacious and had all of the amenities that we needed. From the warm cookie on check-in to the amazing location right in the heart of Times Square, we were very impressed - We will stay here again next time we visit NYC!

This was the 4th time that I have stayed at the Doubletree Suites. I definitly saw the wear and tear of everything this time. The bathroom door was constantly getting stuck. I also realized that I left some things in the room, when I called the hotel I asked them why they didn't give me a courtesy call to let me know. They said that they don't do that. if they want to be a high star hotel the little things add up ..overall it is still a good value .

I met with Ami at the check-in desk and she deserves a "Perfect 10" score! I have met Ami before at the other Hilton Times Square hotel I frequent - and was delighted to see her here today. Ami is very tuned in to the needs of her customers and I just wish she was behind the desk of every Hilton I enter. Ami and DoubleTree Hilton Suites - you are the best! Oh, and Hilton, you too!

Room Tip: I would suggest you book early because this hotel is booked full most of the time.

This hotel was excellent. The size of the room was excellent and I loved the added touch of the coffee machine. The location was amazing and getting cabs was as easy as a wave. There was a staff member to organise this too if you needed it. The rooms remained quiet due to excellent windows. The bar was lovely and the bar man (late 40's, longish blond curtained hair) was brilliant. He was so lovely and make cracking cocktails! I could not fault this hotel for anything.

We just got back from a four night stay at the Doubletree Times Square. We've visited New York many times and most of them we have stayed at the Hampton Inn on 8th. We liked it there but this time decided to try staying right in the heart of it: And, it was actually about $25 less to stay here compared to the Hampton (Hampton has free breakfast though). We were wondering how this hotel would be for noise, cleanliness, staff, etc. We were very pleasantly surprised at how great it was. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful; no problems at all. The rooms were great; big, clean, good view, everything in good condition. Showers were clean and the water pressure was great (something I always notice). Housekeeping was fast; room was always made up when we returned in the afternoon. The building is safe, as we were asked most times when we entered to show our room key, and always at night. You take the first elevator to the 3rd floor which is where the lobby is located. There is also a bar on this floor in the lobby. From there you walk around to another hall where you take another elevator to your floor. Never had to wait long. We did not eat at the hotel; it is quite expensive. We're not really hotel eaters anyway. We did inquire about show tickets for when we return next month. The concierge desk has a couple of people working and she called the theater for us. We were given a price that we thought was too high and knew we could do better online. We decided to walk to the theater and bought the tickets there for an amazing $90 less for the same seats! So, watch out for that! It may not always be the case, but consider yourself warned. We are going to stay at this hotel again when we come next month. It's so convenient and actually very quiet, never heard any noise. It is bright because of all of the lights in Times Square so bring a couple of clips to clip the drapes together and you'll be fine. A great place to stay in Manhattan!

Room Tip: We didn't pay more for a view of Times Square. Not worth it for us. We had a great view of the s...

Over the course of two weeks, my team was in and out of the Doubletree Guest Suites as we met to work on a project. Our schedules were in flux and many last minute reservations were made and changed. Every single person I worked with at the hotel; Liz, Earl, Manny, Ami, and Danny, were incredibly patient and accommodating. We would have never achieved the level of success that we did, if it were not for the prime location, quality internet service, clean & comfortable suites, and impeccable customer service of the staff at the Doubletree. Thank you again to all!!
