Over the past few years I've spent 200 or more nights per year at hotels all around the world; most for business, yet still a fair number for personal travel. I love going to NYC for a weekend to take in a concert, a show or to just shop and discover new places in the city.
My experience has been that when it comes to NYC, "Nice Hotel" and "Excellent Value" can be an oxymoron. The Cosmopolitan proves that theory wrong! This is a very nice hotel with helpful staff, clean, updated rooms and a great location. Of course, the rooms are on the smaller side which is par for the course in Manhattan, but they are tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable.
As it often goes, it's the small things that can really make a difference. I saved one of their pens which had a very unique style and elegant look to it. I've used it quite a bit in the past couple of months and it always brings back good memories of my stay there. It also serves as a reminder of where I'll look first next time I plan a trip to NYC!More
