“Business Trip to NYC”

I have stayed at the Hilton Manhattan East a few times now and although an older building it is very comfortable while I was there. The staff has alwasy been very friendly and always helpful. The rooms have been very clean and everything is functional even with being older. The breakfasts have a great buffet and the servers as very friendly and always refilling the coffee with a smile. My company is only a few blocks so this is my first choice when I travel to NYC on business have to stay over for meetings. It is a preferred hotel for my company but the rates are more reasonable compared to others on the list in the area so I highly recommend the Hilton Manhattan East and will continue to stay here.

Room Tip: The corner rooms are nice and if you have a high floor there is less traffic noise.

The Hilton Manhattan East is in a great location with easy access to cabs and public transportation. The staff, Jose Ramirez, in particular, was welcoming and helpful at every turn. The room was comfortable and suited my needs of coming and going quite well. My only complaint, which is not specific to the Hilton Manhattan East, but to all Hilton Hotels, is that access to internet is not included for ALL Hilton Honors members, which I think is a mistake.

It was great to read you had a nice stay with us and to see that Jose was able to play a role in that. As for the wifi we still do offer it at a charge however it is free in our lobby. We do have rate packages that do include wifi and our Diamond and Gold members receive it complimentary. I hope you are not dissuaded from staying with us in the future as more stays with our brand will qualify you to reach Diamond or Gold status.

I strongly recommend staying a the Hilton Manhattan East Hotel. We were a delegation of over 100 colleagues, and we were very well looked after! Sheila and her team were a dream to work with!!! Thank you SO much for your warm welcome and support throughout. The standard of the rooms, the service, the breakfast was excellent. Pablo, Asm and Chalik always had a smile on their faces and were happy to help with any requests. Thank you! We will definitely continue our business relationship with the Hilton Manhattan East Hotel, and look forward to staying with you again, in future.

Have stayed at this property 5 times in the past year. Very consistent in all aspects. Key is the level of service which all associates ask and seek your comments. Room very clean and well maintained. First impression is being met by Bell Captain arriving with my car. Valet the car immediately and front desk well manned at the rush. No waiting and all was ready. Its difficult to single out all of the associates we encountered but one in particular being "Balal" in the main dining. He was very attentive and remembered our name next day as well as what we ordered and made sure we were welcome. Assistant Front Office Manager Mr. Akhtar met us on the departure and a good discussion on hotels and this property.

I have to say, this is a well managed property with a group of associates that care. Not much more to say but keep up the great effort.

Stayed here for 2 nights in March on a business trip. On check-in I was told I had been upgraded to a suite and it was one of a handful of rooms that had a view. The suite part of the statement was spot-on, the room was spacious with a king sized bed and a seating area. There was no view - not a problem as I hadn't been expecting one but don't build up my hopes!

Wifi in the bar area was excellent but it wasn't accessible in my room. The bar and restaurant areas were nicely decorated and very modern.

Staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a good stay.

We thank you for taking the time to provide a review of our property. We are glad to see you had an overall good stay and were able to have positive interaction with our friendly staff. Our suites are certainly spacious and our wifi connectivity we are currently in the beginning stages to get this more efficient in all of our guest rooms. As for your view we do have partial views of the river, UN, and 42nd St however the large buildings around us do obstruct us from having a direct view of the city. We hope on your next visit you choose to stay with us once again.

The hotel was clean and the service very efficient. We were especially impressed with the transport to and from Newark Airport. Best of all, however, is the location! From here you can reach so much of the City. We found the breakfast too expensive at $27, so went somewhere else, which wasn't difficult as there are plenty of 'foody-places' nearby.

Very welcoming staff. Especially appreciate Pablo (breakfast) and Jose (bartender) and Kevin (front desk) and Mike (bellman) - friendly and fast! Good location in midtown. Not cookie cutter hotel - rooms are unique and full of character.
