I love this place and its cousin, Hill Country Chicken, a block away on E. 25th. I come here when I want to have amazing BBQ beef. My favorite is the beef brisket, juicy, most tender, and lots of flavor. Size of portion is entirely up to you, however, I have to warn you that watching them slice your order will tempt you to order more because they simply looks delightfully delicious. I usually order a side of veggie (kale cooked until soft yet with some crunch) and those tasty corn bread. Very casual place in the form of a Texas BBQ place; self-service but the folks behind the counter are very friendly, including the waiter who served me my iced tea (free refills). They have live country music at certain times which I would love to come back one day to enjoy.
