“Imaginative Mexican”
Reviewed November 4, 2013 via mobile

A local friend and I went here on a Saturday evening, on the last day they were celebrating Dias de Los Muertos. We didn't have a reservation but were able to be seated right away.
We started with the salsa sampler and tried two different types of soup. The salsa was fresh and delicious. The soup was terrific and served with a side of crispy tortilla strips and crispy, cooked jalepeño peppers. We both got the appetizer special of enchiladas with zucchini blossoms served with a green mole sauce and pumpkin seeds. The waitress was very attentive, even though it got very busy and we were seated next to the door/waiting area.
The pumpkin flan sounded amazing, but we were both too full to try it. This was my friends third time here and I'm glad she took me here.

“Go somewhere else”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

I rarely write bad reviews but this is not much better than Taco Bell and 5 times the price. Actually Taco Bell is probably better. The microwaved canned black beans did not help. Grossly overpriced for the (lack of) quality and service.

“Great food & Atmosphere!”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

For an apetitizer, I had the guacamole. For an entree, I had the shrimp tacos and drank a glass of Sangria! Both were very good! The waiters were very friendly and accomodating! Would eat here again!

“Light Dinner with Friends”

Great spot for a light bite after an event the museum with friends. Found this place for their happy hour and $2 tacos (bar only). Food can be spicy but I'm a wimp. Smaller portions & a bit on the pricer side- hey, I'm a young New Yorker. Good service and atmosphere.

“great mexican”
Reviewed October 20, 2013 credit card Amex Card Member Review

great mexican food on the upper west side. The staff is friendly, but not overly pushy. The food was yummy- we had steak and shrimp fajitas which were excellent. The enchiladas were also tasty and not too heavy. The guacamole
was some of the best we ever had. We'll definitely be heading back there.
