Smallish neighbouhood steakhouse in the East Village. Busy but not manic on a monday night. Decor involves a lot of football scarves and photos. Our waiter was pure delight, friendly and helpful and attentive without ever getting on our nerves.
Our steaks - 12 oz ribeye and half skirt steak - were perfectly cooked as ordered. Fries were excellent, salad very pedestrian - just a bit of ordinary lettuce and some tomato.
I can't remember which wine we drank, but it was one of the cheapest and really smooth and drinkable.
We had a great evening here - for top-notch steaks at very un-eyewatering prices, this place is a must.
