“Nice food and great entertainment”

Enjoyed the food and the music as well as the ambience. The cocktails are excellent! You can order dinner or just have a drink. Great service and the location phenomenal, they have several music sets each evening.

“Beautiful view for a club”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

Wonderfull jazz venue. Great acoustics. A bit crowded for dinner and food average but certainly Southern. Do not be afraid to share a table if you are a twosome. Meet interesting people and share an interest in good music. With cover charge dinner seems pricey. Early show recommended.

“Great music and food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2013

We went there for a nightcap and snack after a performance at the Met Opera. The live music was fantastic, with different performers during the week. The food was amazingly delicious!! We wanted to order more just for the taste, but we couldn't fit it in! It has mainly a Creole-Cajun feel, with authentic flavors. All the staff were friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend Dizzy's, even for those who may not be that fond of jazz.

“Great jazz with a view”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 22, 2013

Dizzy's Club Coca Cola is a great venue to catch live jazz in an intimate setting. The room is on the 5th floor of the Time Warner center and overlooks Columbus Circle, Central Park, and the skyline.
The night we went, the music and the artists were outstanding! We had a table right next to the stage that you made you really feel like you were part of the music.
Be sure to get there not long after the doors open as the tables are first come, first served. (reservation guarantees a seat, but not a table)
I would recommend going to the early performance vs. late. The artist went a little long (to our benefit), so the people were already lined up outside waiting to get in for the second show.
I will definitely go back next time I'm in NYC!

“Disappointing food, great music...”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 21, 2013

I recently went to see the NY Youth Symphony Jazz Big Band (that might not be the exact title), and was hoping to have a great meal. However, I found the menu items to be quite limited, with a heavy emphasis on New Orleans cuisine. If you prefer that type of food, you might be happy indeed. However, I do not, and wound up ordering a trio of vegetable sides, which were tasty. My companion ordered a gumbo, which he said was good, but the soup was delivered without a spoon. When he went to ask for one, the waitress seemed to be quite annoyed. The glass of Malbec I ordered was delicious. And the band was fantastic. So it was a bit of a mixed experience for me.
