We had just arrived in NYC and had dropped off our luggage at our hotel (which was not ready for us yet).
We found Amy's after a short walk and after a quick inspection hopped inside.
Wonderful array of home baked produce which quickly saw us grab a seat.
Latte and home baking quite superb, only downside is that the restaurant is a bit on the small side.
Really good though.

Delicious desserts, really good coffee, and great employees! We stopped in for a late-night treat and some coffee recently when in the area. Had a cheese-cake brownie, pain au chocolate, and Americanos. The desserts tasted fresh, even at night. No stale bread in this place! And the coffee was really good. My wife loved it so much that we talked to the employees about the brand (Fonte) so we could try it at home. I even emailed them later and got a detailed response with the type of roast they use (Uptown Blend).
Really good desserts and excellent service!

We visited Amy's Bread on 9th Avenue for breakfast and had the best coffee and pastries during our 5 day stay. Two further visits were equally as good. The staff are really friendly, and although we didn't try any of the bread it all looked amazing.

I did not personally visit Amy's Bread - I was the lucky enough to be treated by my partner to breakfast in bed on a snow day! As we were on holiday he decided to go all out for breakfast, as we had Smoked Salmon Sandwiches, Brownies, Blondies and Carrot Cake - they were all delicious, from what we had I would say the selection was great for any meal and if time had permitted we would had definitely gone back for lunch, and when we next visit New York again (which we will, as we LOVED it!) we will be sure to be back!

The hot chocolate was a little too watery. Normal tea and good cupcakes but we expected more since people online has hyped this bakery up so much. Should have space for 2-3 more tables so more people could sit. 3 stars because the hot chocolate is even better at Starbucks for example.

I was so sorry to hear of your disappointment regarding our hot chocolate. It should never be watery. I would like you to try it again. We pride ourselves on our homemade hot chocolate, made with a thick ganache and a homemade marshmallow. If you are ever at any of our locations again, please let them know that we owe you a hot chocolate (or any other espresso drink if you prefer)! Tell them Kerrie sent you. Happy travels and thank you for writing.
