Cozy Italian restaurant, excellent food, reasonable prices, brick wall decor, wine list a little steep but I can recommend Nero D'Avila from Sicily, one of my favorite wines. Apparently has a garden in back. If you don't already know it, Avenue B prices are becoming like uptown. Interesting dishes, well-prepared, very congenial.

Was taken to the Barbone by my son and daughter in law on Thanksgiving weekend. What a wonderful place.
We had the 5 item tasting menu and it was so delicous I really didnt want to share. The chicken livers were to die for.
If you get the chance please go.

Had a nice dinner - sat outside - friends - good food - nice atmosphere. Entrees were good sized. Apps a little small. Service well done.

And got a parking spot too!

Ive eaten here for both a romantic date and a group dinner. Both times were special, and i especially love the outside patio. My favorite dishes are the duck ravioli and the lobster fettuccine.

I made reservations on open table
Not knowing this restaurant had a tasting menu. We did a 7 course for $50, super cheap for a tasting menu in New York. Every dish that came out was delicious (though heavy on sauces). We weren't able to sit on the patio because all the tables were taken, but for a Friday night the restaurant was pretty quiet , allowing us to have a nice romantic dinner. We'd definitely go back.
