The hotel is well placed.
The subway station is few steps away.
First I had a noisy room due to the air condition system after complaining about it I was given another room not noisy.
The staff is competent and helpful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with no noisy air condition system cause it can be hard to sleep with such noise.

Bed was comfy, room was clean and modern, staff was friendly, and the breakfast that was included in my rate was well beyond my expectations. Warm complimentary cookies upon check in were awesome! The only thing I wanted was a full length mirror. (My co-workers said they had one in their rooms so I think it had something to do with my room location)

The hotel is about 1 block from the subway. Staff was extremely friendly & knowledgeable. Unexpected surprise: able to check in at 10am, as no one had stayed in our room the night before. Our room was small, but very clean. Comfortable bed & pillows. The bathroom was clean, but small...not much counter space. No refrigerator in room, but it does have a coffee maker, iron & safe. The lounge, Artifakt, was closed for renovations, unfortunately. Breakfast is served from 6am to 10am & offers a wide selection. Coffee, tea & hot chocolate are available 24 hrs. We had a small glitch with our TV, but once we called the front desk, someone arrived within 2 minutes & corrected the problem.

Well priced hotel. Clean basic rooms. Large bathroom. Close walk to main metro lines and easy to get taxis outside. Very close walk into Soho shopping and restaurants. Front desk staff were always friendly and helpful. Very genuine. Made a difference!
Breakfast wasn't bad either. Included in our rate. The changed it up each day a little bit so you didnt get bored. The eggs are that cheap powdery type, but that might be standard at this range of hotel in the US? Otherwise good waffles, and cereals and bread etc. Coffee was good too.
Wifi was free as well, which is great! Would stay here again.

Very convenient to subway. Easy walking to shopping and Greenwich Village also to World Trade Center. Staff was very friendly and responsive. Rooms are small but very clean and updated. Free hot breakfast and wifi are big plus. Would stay there again

Great place if you are looking for a price worth, central and clean SOHO- hotel. More than great breakfast, nice bathroom and comfortable beds together with a friendly and helpful staff makes this hotel a want-to-go-back-hotel.

A superb location, 2 minute walk to the subway. Close to many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. Lots of great shopping nearby. Rooms were nice and tidy. Big comfortable bed with fresh sheets. Modern bathroom but sadly ran out of hot water twice during our stay. Not ideal during the winter conditions! Check in was fast and easy. There is free wifi and two computers downstairs which was always readily available. We had the free breakfast twice. Good selection of breakfast foods and drinks. Bar was nice. Very friendly bar tender, however drinks were a little pricey. Overall, very satisfied with the Hampton Inn SoHo. It met all of our needs especially as it was our first trip to New York. We will be recommending this hotel to our friends and we would definitely stay here again.
