A dear friend organized this tour for a group of us. I didn't know what to expect. As Tim (tour guide) said, "This is no Sarah Jessica Parker Tour". This tour is unique in that you are taken on a journey through the eyes of a photographer who worked for the Village Newspaper at a time when politics, music, art, impacted the neighborhood in such a profound way. Little did the photographer know that his experiences, his perspective, his snaps would become so iconic. A young Hendrix, Dylan, Hoffman, and Stonewall protest are just a few images that you'll get to experience / relive during this tour. It was amazing!
