“Little Gem”
Reviewed June 15, 2014

Ate here as we couldn't get into lombardis, but we weren't disappointed. Pizza was light and delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Our waitress was attentive and genuinely friendly. Would definitely recommend.

“Best pizza I ever had!”
Reviewed May 20, 2014 via mobile

Go to L'asso and definitely try the pizza! There is a variety of traditionnal or creative flavors. We didn't have a reservation, so we sat at the bar until a table was available. The wait was only about 10 minutes. It was well worth the wait! We tried each a different kind, and everybody found their selection to be heavenly. The bruschetta was also delicious.

“great pizza!”
Reviewed May 15, 2014

Unique ambiance! Just the way i imagined an Italian restaurant in New York would be! Great pizza and pasta! Staff are friendly and laid back. Nice NYC crowd here. Not touristy, thank goodness, at least when i was there. nice walk through Manhattan to reach it. The overall experience was definitely awesome!

“Incredibly fresh, succulent pizza”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

This thin-crust pizza is the best I have ever had. Some thin crusts have the flavor and texture of cardboard, but this was soft so that you could fold a slice in half and eat it like a warm little sandwich. Excellent tomato sauce and cheese. Friendly and helpful staff. My only complaint would be the very loud music.
