Centrally located near Grand Central and close to the Theater District, this is a great choice for a business lunch or dinner. I had the Dorado and it was delicate, succulent, and beautifully presented. The rest of my party enjoyed grilled sardines, octopus, and excellent salads for their mains.

This restaurant is not the best Greek in the city (Kefi in UWS is more casual, but the food is superior. Barbounia and Molyvos are slightly better at about the same price point. ilili--not really Greek--is amazing.). The meatball appetizer was average--good, but nothing special. The octopus appetizer was unpleasantly fishy-tasting, despite my squeezing out of all the lemon juice I could on it. The lamb shank was good and even had some marrow in the bone. Dessert was tasty, if unremarkable (a nice walnut cake).

Happy Hour here is pretty good though it competes with the Beer Bar across the street. On a Friday, it was pretty crowded. I met my friend and we had some wine and shared the spreads which were all decent. Having just returned from Greece, they were not comparable to anything I had either in Athens or on the island of Chios but we enjoyed them nonetheless. Service was much better this time around too.

Stopped in for an early dinner before getting on a train at Grand Central which is just up the street. Arriving before 6pm gives you a good chance to be seated immediately if you don't have reservations. Had a great calamari appetizer followed by Scottish salmon on a bed of orzo. It was done to perfection. What caught our attention was the risotto thalasenon entre. The prawn was the biggest one I've ever seen. The scallops were also extremely large. Great filling dish. Service was very efficient. Would definitely stop in again - hopping happy hour beer place across the street as well.

Went today for a business lunch and I recall why I stopped coming here. We had a 1pm reservation and we were not seated until 1:15pm. Then, the service was horrible -- it took too long for drinks and then food took almost 40 minutes to arrive. Totally unacceptable. And it is very expensive for such lousy service. I will never return here.
