I have worked and lived in NYC for almost 30 years and I have passed by this restaurant alot of times. So finally my husband and I went for dinner and we were not disappointed. The restaurant itself is quite beautiful. The service was great. I felt like I was part of the family. Warm and friendly attitudes from all the waitstaff. The food equally fantastic. We had the grilled calamari, dips and the grilled black sea bass with asparagus. We asked for our food with low oil on everything. We try to eat clean. Anyway the chef prepared it exactly as we had asked. All the food was fresh and delicious. We were treated by our waiter to some Greek dessert wine that tasted like Pine trees. We didn't expect to like it but we did. It was a very nice and enjoyable way to spend a Saturday evening.

Food and Service here were awesome. They worked with me to make my birthday special. Booked on Open Table and they actually called to confirm all of my arrangements. This is a hidden gem!

We arrived just before 4 pm and were looked after royally in an almost empty restaurant. There was a lovely vibe as the staff prepared for the start of the evening service in a very professional manner. Quietly and seriously. A platter of whole fish were brought to the table which was tempting, however, who knows what they might cost: they are served to you and priced by the pound. We chose the set menu at 33 euros and were not disappointed. Octopus to start and a halibut like fish fillet served with a lemon and butter sauce and lots of veg and polenta triangles - both were delicious. Dessert had four choices and portion sizes were ample. We always have 'iced' water, which is free and tastes good because we like to avoid using plastic bottles and air miles flying the stuff around the globe! The staff were charming. Although our beautiful front of house mademoiselle was just about to leave she sat and chatted to us for a few moments. Our waiter was attentive. We had lovely olive breads which was served with butter complimentary. The set menu is a real star and they know how to cook!

We had a 7pm reservation and were seated immediately, we only had 45 mins to get in and out before our 8 pm Broadway show started and we asked the waiter for suggestions. I really wanted to have the seafood risotto so we had that and 3 hearty appetizers. The service was very good, the calamari was good as it should be at a Greek restaurant BUT the octopus was amazing. It was grilled to perfection, seasoned beautifully and I could have just eaten that .. the seafood risotto was a little overcooked and should have had more seafood, but we had more than enough food for 2 people. Our 3rd appetizer was a greek salad and we added chicken. It was a very chunky salad with a large portion of chicken (too much in my opion). As expected the total for all of this food was expensive - after all it is NYC!
