Description: bobo is a farm-to-table restaurant and cocktail bar located in a century old townhouse in Greenwich Village serving dinner nightly and brunch on the weekends.

A classic New York old school townhouse experience. It felt like we were visiting a well to do friend at his house. Loved the interior design and the cocktail bar downstairs. Our clients from France stayed behind downstairs after a great dinner upstairs. It must have been fashion week judging by the patrons. I heard they invested in a new chef and it truly shows. My new West Village "go-to"

The location is the lower west side of the village. Great neighborhood for restaurants. The restaurant is small and the tables are very close together. I understand it is New York..but it was uncomfortable. To dine, you must walk up a narrow stairway, so I would suggest a different place if you have difficulties with stairs. The menu is average in terms of New York. The service was prompt and courteous. Overall, this is not a place I would recommend for a "total dining experience"(menu, atmosphere, and service).

Having been recommended this restaurant by a friend I felt assured that it would be good. I felt a little hesitant however, as having looked at the menu online in advance it didn't look very adventurous. In fact, I thought this looked like British 'gastropub' cuisine; roast chicken, shepherd's pie, fish and chips, etc.. However, the food really is delicious. The quality of the ingredients is high and they are carefully prepared. Out of a table of six people, five of us were delighted with what we had. The wine list was extensive and the service was efficient and friendly.

negatives: the lighting is a little too dim.

Our first impression, there is no one in the restaurantat - it can't be good, but we had a reservation and went in anyways. We were taken to the second floor and it was better, but we asked to be seated at the terrace as it was even better - nice crowd, very cosy! Most of the food we had was really good and so were the drinks! only recommendation, don't order the salmon, it had no taste whatsoever! I would go back to this place!

This restaurant is only a short walk from the Christopher Street Metro. Unique, trendy environment and great food. Reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The window tables in the lower level are laughably narrow, but hold a certain charm. Four different brunch dishes, all equally delicious. (And while you are in the area, walk over to the Stonewall Inn for a bit of history.)
