“What a find!”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

On a recent trip to NYC, my husband was pleased to find our hotel sandwiched between three Irish bars. After having tested all three, he determined The Perfect Pint to have the best beer selection, adequate TV/sports viewing options, and reasonable prices (by Times Square standards). Over the duration of our trip, we were probably in there four or five times, were served by four different bartenders and sampled items of the appetizer menu. The food was good, but we did not have any actual meals (although I would assume it would also be fine). What has prompted me to write a review, was the staff. First, I think they are all Irish, at least the seven or eight we came into contact with, and they were all incredibly friendly. Not only did the bartender introduce himself with a handshake and chat with his clients between service, but they remembered us (and our names) every time we came back.

This is Times Square. Millions of visitors, hundreds a day probably in this pace alone, and they remembered our names and what we drank every time. They made us feel like we were in our home town at our local pub chatting with friends. I am sure that we will not go back to NYC without visiting this place again. It is just a great little place with the Perfect People.

“Tourist trap”

As the location would suggest, this place is the place to go if you want overpriced bland food and drinks.

“Fish and chips and a beer”
Reviewed October 8, 2013

Had the fish and chips, done well with a beer batter on the fish. I also really enjoyed the freshly made coleslaw. Wish I'd have had more! It also didn't hurt that they have 40 beers on tap, Smithwicks being one of my very favorites. The gentleman next to me had the Kobe burger and couldn't stop raving about how good it was also.

“Truly an Irish pub!”

A very nice pub. Authentic Irish
atmosphere with an extensive selection on tap and a nice menu. Service is attentive and cheerful. One is made to feel immediately welcome. Excellent location a half block off Times Square.
