Average quality breakfast buffet, good price at $12 USD, and you stay indoors to get to the restaurant if you stay at the Holiday Inn Manhattan - Financial District.

The staff was great, but the food was mediocre. The poached eggs on the Eggs Benedict were hard boiled and tasted of vinegar.

It was our second time stay at the hotel in Holiday Inn. And everyday we ate our breakfast at this restaurant. Its crowded in the morning, but Coleen the restaurant manager and her staff always found place for us. We met Coleen every morning and she was very courteous and friendly. On our anniversary she made it even more special with the cheese cake and candle. That just made our day and it was a wonderful surprise. The restaurant is a bit tight but they have great food to offer. Its a great place with restaurant and bar. On the top level of the restaurant, they have excellent Chinese food. So you can choose between both the cuisines. Highly recommend this place.

We used this bar as its joined onto the holiday inn so convenient to call in for breakfast, beers, ect but wow like the rest of Newyork it's just totally overpriced for what you get. 2 beers in the afternoon and 2 bowls of onion soup, the 2 chicken club sandwiches came to around $55 and although it was OK it wasn't worth the overpriced charge. The same with breakfast this is the only place in America for were we have stayed in 20 years of visiting the States were they charge you for each cup of coffee or tea with your breakfast. Normally all these places offer free refills. So 2 omletts, with some toast and coffee, tea was around $30 and nothing fantastic. This place was full in the morning of Flight Attendants for Norwegian Airlines staying in the hotel (Holiday Inn) next door so they tended to take priority over paying guests like we were at the time. The whole bar & resturant seems to be in need of a face lift and in honesty a ruddy good clean. But like I say it's expensive but it's no different than the rest of Newyork. Utter Rip Off. Would we return, Nope the only reason we used this is we were picking up a cruise in a couple of days so was convenient.
