“Our Third Trip and Not Our Last”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2014

This place was hopping on a Saturday night at 9:00, so we had to wait a little while, but soon enough were plunked in a second floor room at the far end of the restaurant, which was actually nice because it wasn't as loud. Our waiter was perfect, very informative. Decor is very nice. And the food, as expected, was divine. That's why we keep returning! From the tabbouleh to the fluke carpacchio to the hummus to the tuna belly to the semolina gnocchi, everything pleased. And the bottle of wine went down well, too.

“Perfect Middle Eastern Food!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

We attend a show at least once a month and typically eat dinner around the theater district. I was in the mood for some good Middle Eastern food and after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor we decided on ilili. We were not disappointed. We order three different appetizers, baba ghanoush, duck shawarma, and falafel. The duck was just wonderful! We split the Mixed Grill dinner which had chicken shish taouk, lamb kebab, and kafta lamb chops. The lamb chops were to die for!

The service was just wonderful. We will definitely be back!

The nice long walk back uptown, on a spring day, was also good after eating a good meal.

“Excellent Lebanese Food, Great Service, Noisy”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 3, 2014

I will definitely go back. The delicately spiced Lebanese food was top notch and reasonable for the city. The service was attentive. The only negative was the noise level. They definitely need to work on sound proofing. And they need to get traditional cardamom coffee to complement the desserts. That said, cucumber, lemon and ginger drink was refreshing. Moussaka, kibbe, lentil soup, clotted cream with fruit and rose water were all excellent and worth a return trip.

“Perfect for a party of five or six!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2014

This restaurant was the perfect place for a group of friend to meet. The atmosphere is modern and the food is delicious. We ordered several appetizers for the table and it was wonderful to try thing that I might not have ordered otherwise. The brussel-sprouts for example where surprisingly wonderful. The dinners were good size . Not too big and not fashionably small. I had the house Cabernet and it was very good. They also had a nice selection of specialty drinks and beer. We all had a good time and left very satisfied.

“Wow!! This place has it all!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 1, 2014

We were looking for a more special dinner out on our trip to NYC and this place has it all! I would describe it as a swanky 5th Ave Lebanese tapas restaurant. The food is out of this world. We were totally blown away by everything and we're pretty hard-core foodies. The atmosphere is very hip. The kind of place that has its own DJ (but isn't too loud!) to keep the right mood going. The service was fantastic! Very attentive and great suggestions without being pushy. We would go back in a heartbeat if we were closer!
