not my first time here but a much better experience in the main dining room vs the dark and crowded back room. a lot of tasty options to choose from and most of them were delicious...there is a disconcerting vibe (not sure if they were too busy, or too jaded) that makes it not the most relaxed meal but the food is well worth it...try it!

We came here for a late lunch, ordered the brunch menu, and found it to be quite good. The lamb burgers and lamb dips were substantial.. We especially liked the spicy hummus with shrimp and hot peppers. There were not many people at the time, so we enjoyed a quiet Father's Day lunch -- a day before Father's Day. The mixed drinks were very watered down and weak. Our server, Maia, was extremely pleasant.Decor is very modern.

This is clearly an overrated restaurant with a hip vibe, but lots to make up for... I was disappointed by the food, which was good, but not amazing. The service was excellent though. The atmosphere lacked from all points of view; it was loud, difficult to have a conversation with the person sitting in front of you. Maybe good for groups, but too much showing off. Pretentious and disappointing.

Ilili is one of my favorite places for both happy hours and dinners. Happy hour cocktails are tasty, not watered down (as many places in NYC tend to be) and quite affordable for this level of restaurant. Happy hour runs 4pm-7:30pm and wine/cocktails are $7.

Happy hour is only served at the bar, but is a great place to mingle. The crowd is young and mostly sophisticated - not terribly touristy.

Dinner at Ilili is delish! As others have mentioned, the brussel sprouts are like heaven. Amazing, unique concoction of sprouts, cream sauce and walnuts. I also highly recommend the risotto, although nearly everything I've tried here is superb.

Great food and fantastic broussel sprouts. Can't recommend them enough. This place is a little loud but what isn't in New York I guess. Do recommend doing the appetizer section of the menu. Just order 4-5 appts and you are good. Great place and great food. Will come back for sure.
