“Great lunch, Quiet restaurant, Nice location”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

Elegant restaurant and relaxing atmosphere, great food and service, would definitely recommend as part of experiencing an afternoon on Wall Street

Outdoor seating on balcony, nice view if you like the look of Wall Street!

“Excellent for group events”
Reviewed August 9, 2012

We had quite a fine evening on a group event held at Cipriani Wall Street: plenty of appetizers and drinks being served at all times, then proceeded to the entrees which were mostly very good. The band and impecable service also helped in making it an unforgettable evening.

“Cipriani, La Specialita, the deli”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

We ate at the deli of Cipriani during our recent trip and we were a bit upset to say the least. The people were pleasant enough, the food was good but nothing special for New York, and for us, it was self serve (when our sandwiches were ready they yelled at us to pick them up). The shock came when we paid our check and found that we were charged a mandatory 18% service charge. For self service? I don’t think so. I do tip and tip well for exceptional service, but I resent being told that I have to tip that much for self service. We would not return and I would advise anyone else to avoid the place unless they have money to throw away.

“One of the best meals we had”
Reviewed June 26, 2012

Visited Cipriioni late may 2012.

This was a business occasion with a business partner of mine and our two wifes.

I did not pick up the bill, but from the prices i could see this place was around $70-100 a person depending on drinks.

We had Bellinis all night and they were amazing. made with fresh peach.

This place really hit a home run. Everything was amazing. The service was attentive and kind. The food was amazing all around. We ordered 5 apps of the trable and they were all amazing. Fried calamari, some pasta with tomato source, an egg plant dish and some seviche.

Main dishes we had the veal, 5 cheese pasta and steak. Everything was wonderful.

Desert topped it off for the night. tarami sue was just splendid.

Its not cheep, but if you would like o have a wonderful Italian meal, dont miss it.

“Food not worth the price. Good outdoor space”
Reviewed May 31, 2012

Had lunch here with a girlfriend, and we opted for outdoor seating.
We both opted for the pre-fixe menu and veal ravioli. We both had prosciutto and mozzarella appetizer, Chilean sea bass, and she had the chocolate dessert and I had the ricotta cheesecake.
The appetizer was fairly bland and the meat was a bit dry. The fish was cooked well - buttery, flakey - but swimming in butter/olive oil. Way too rich and overpowered the fish. Veal ravioli was really good. Each piece had just enough filling but overall could have used more of the dark brown sauce on top. The desserts were delicious - they saved the meal. The ricotta cheesecake was flavorful and chocolate was not overly sweet or dry.
Had I not ordered from the pre-fixe menu, I would have been very annoyed and unhappy with my meal. The a la carte plates are very expensive. However, I really enjoyed the outdoor space (good for people watching) and I may return for cocktails out there.
