Attached to New Yorker Hotel we spent an hour here at the end of an evening on town.Great for a nightcap with helpful friendly staff.
Restaurant quite busy but we'd eaten already.

Other reviews c/o high price but you are in New York. Prices just like other taverns there. Very nice food and drinks. Plus it was in our hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff!! Highly recommended!

We stayed at the New Yorker Hotel last week and this bar is very handy. Have to admit we had lovely drink in there last Sunday night, two cocktails and two vodka and coke, total bill $48. The following evening we ordered the same, total price $58. We questioned this and were told there are two vodkas and we had been given the better one at $5 each more and not the cheaper house option, may just be our view but if there are two options you should be given the choice, we paid the bill and didn't bother with the place again!

Every time I head to Cooper's Tavern, it's like being guaranteed a good time. The hostesses and bar staff are always great, friendly and make sure you're taken care of. The servers treat you like you're their only customer. The Grilled Goat Cheese With Eggplant Capponata is awesome and the steaks are always top-notch, love the NY Strip.
