“Rustic looking steak house ”
Reviewed April 9, 2014 via mobile

We began with two types of salads, one tomato with bacon and onion rings, and the other with egg and apples. We also tried the butternut squash soup which was one of the best I've ever had. Next, we had strip steak with cherries, a ribeye for two, and organic pan fried salmon.
The rib eye was delicious although some pieces were not cooked properly. The steak with cherries was a bit chewy but flavorful. The salmon was good but nothing spectacular.

Our sides included crispy potatoes, sautéed spinach, steamed spinach, and corn creme brûlée. The corn was sweet and tasty. The potatoes were a bit greasy.

For dessert we ordered a coconut dream bar and a mint chocolate oreo cake. I might try this restaurant one more time.

$52 for four bottles of water when we requested tap. Shameful to see waiter padding an already expensive bill

“Excellent as Usual”
Reviewed April 8, 2014

Very expensive - very crowded - but a great steak and excellent wine list! Ask for a table on the top level for a little more privacy.

“So good the wife forgot the experience completely :)”
Reviewed April 7, 2014

Went there late on a Thursday night with another couple whilst we on holiday in New York. We were early so we had a few drinks at the bar until our friends arrived.
Great dirty martini's and gimlets followed by excellent starter's and mains.
The meal was complemented by a few more gimlet's and the wife enjoyed herself (and the meal) so much that she could not remember anything about the entire night - including the taxi ride back to Harlem, where we were staying.
Definitely a place we will go back to again the next time we are in New York!

“Excellent”
Reviewed April 6, 2014

Dined here on a Saturday night while visiting NYC from Chicago. Was curious as to how the steak would compare to Chicago......it was excellent. MY daughter thought the rib eye was the best she ever had. Green goddess salad, filest, 2 kinds of potatoes, broccoli "bites", creamed spinach were all delicious. I had the tuna au poivre for my entree and it was amazing. Ice cream by the pint for dessert is cute idea; the kids loved it. We loved the atmosphere, candles, unfinished ceiling, very cool. Highly recommend Quality Meats!
