“For young children, this is the pick”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

There are plenty of other shows around for and older audience, but I reckon this must be the pick of them for younger kids.

I took my 7 year old son and he enjoyed the show so much, it was hard to keep him in his seat. And so did I...

What a talented bunch of people and such a fantastic production. The cast were all so talented, with wonderful songs, amazing sets and just brilliant costuming.

We loved it and it was such a joy to share that with him.

the movie was better! i saw this when it first opened and i felt like i was watching a high school play. the sets were amateur and boring. costumes were way too simple. maybe i had high expectations, but i was very disappointed and couldn't wait to leave the theater

“Wow! A must see”

Amazing show to watch. Its the first time I watched theatre where they had to create animals, and they did it really well.

Book in advance as shows get booked quickly, and generally don't go on sale at the tkts booth in times square.

We took our nine-year-old daughter and my mother to see The Lion King at Minskoff in December. It was, to put it lightly, the most amazing stage production I've ever seen. Not because of fancy dramatics or special effects but literally for the sheer beauty of it all. It is art in the purest sense. SEATING is best in the aisle as the animals pass you by as they walk up. We bought tickets at the box office the morning of the show and had awesome orchestra aisle seats for almost HALF of the face value -- $150 each. I highly recommend both the show and the last minute purchase.
