“Second best musical I've seen!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 16, 2013

I've seen this musical in 3 countries and the best cast was by far on broadway. The passion. The music. The costumes all make it spectacular, but the bit that made its mark on me on broadway was the theatre. It was amazing. So big, so comfortable and very welcoming. I recommend to sit in the stalls for this show so you can feel included in the atmosphere of the show (that's all I'm saying). It's worth the $$. It's worth the trio of escalators and the crowds. This is the lion king. This is broadway. Embrace it !

“Interesting Costumes”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

The music is good, the costumes are inventive; but it smacks of NatGeo instead of Disney, which kind of departs from the timeless cartoon charm of the all familiar movie.

“Amazing costumes and acting”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

Great for adults and children a like. Amazing and clever costumes and brilliant acting. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it. If you go on the theatre's website, as opposed to other sites selling broadway tickets, the tickets seem to be cheaper. The only negative was the usher I encountered who was unfriendly and unprofessional.

“New favourite musical”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

I had been recommended this show by someone who had seen it on the West end. And it was amazing The costumes were excellent and it had a good mix of the disney songs and new original songs which i had never heard. I was expecting over the top prices for food and drink but they wasn't too bad. I can see why this is one of the top shows on broadway, was a fun night out. We got our tickets the day before the show from out hotel, so was pretty easy.
