As everyone else has suggested, the lobster roll is good. As a matter of fact, the LOBSTER RAVIOLI is to die for! Oyster Sampler is good, too.
Very friendly staff, a bit rare to find in NYC. Highly recommand.

My wife and I had our last dinner in NYC here and it was the perfect finish. Very friendly staff and "cozy" restaurant.

The star was definitely the lobster roll - lots of meat, warm buttered bun. Absolutely delicious!

I had the lobster bisque followed by the lobster roll. My fiancé had the clam chowder followed by the steamed lobster. He is still talking about the clam chowder three days on! Everything about this meal was perfect. Food fantastic, service great and good atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I know that most people land up eating either the lobster roll or the steamed grilled lobster but my partner ordered a lobster ravilolli and it was superb! It was rendered excellently in a mushroom cream sauce. The lobster roll was itself very good, came with some salad, fries and absolutely delicious pickle. We both had a glass of wine and shared a blueberry creme brulee which was also so good.... To wrap it up i dont think this restaurant can do anything wrong..but again to think of it could have been a little spacious but again thats asking for too muc in nyc . ;-) a meal for two with glass of wine each and a shared dessert came to about 101$ with the tip....dont miss

OMG...this place is fabulous. We went here twice in our trip to NYC on the recommendation of a friend and we were not disappointed.

The menu has a reasonable choice of fresh/raw fish such as oysters but the main reason for us going was the Lobster Rolls....and what a fantastic bargain at only $29 per person....we nearly had a whole lobster per person in each roll. The meal comes with mayonaise, tomate sauce chips and Ed's Pickles whuih are all fantastic. The meal was filling so be careful in ordering a starter as this can stop you eating all the main if you are not starving. But I would recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood and especially lobster.

The drinks menu including the wine is great and for an A La Carte restaurante not too badly priced. $6 for a pint of local Beer/Lager and about $32 for a reasonable bottle of white wine.

You have to go to Ed's...its fabulous!!
