Small place, tables are really close to each other, no waiting area. Those are the only negatives. Don't go without a reservation, super easy to make Open Table. Actually they were booked on OT and I called and got one. No wait time. Servers very friendly, super attentive.

My wife and I split meals all the time, get to try various dishes, they actually split them for us! Usually we eat half and then pass each other the plate. We ordered the asparagus salad and spinach risotto, and they divided in half for us. Seems simple, but we didn't even ask for it. Both apps were some of the best we've ever had.

Meals were Halibut and Strip. Strip was decent, but toppings excellent. Halibut was perfectly cooked and seasoned awesome.

Make the trip, get a reservation, well worth it.

Looks like a charming place to eat. Is located in the West Village. Rumored that it was the site of the Friends TV series set, not sure that is true but could be. My wife and I live in the West village gave these place 3 visits over the years but same old story. Wait staff was slow, and rude at times acted like they are doing you a favor to get you in. Tables were open but reserved made us sit in a perch above the restaurant to wait to get a table. Once we do get to sit the service was slow the food was OK not great and overpriced. We waited over an hour to get a table and over an hour to eat all this time the empty tables sat empty. If you are a tourist save your money and visit this from the outside. Take a few pictures and move onto a place that treats the customer like a customer with good service and reasonable prices.

Stopped by this place Sunday AM. Lots of street parking. Comfortable, not crowded. Nice place to meet friends. Quiet. Food was quite good. Wife's salmon looked great. Had a Mexican omelette and it was good. They sell beer and wine. Nice neighborhood in the village.

Came here for brunch. Was able to snag a last minute reservation. It's a small, cute space. I'd recommend reservations. Had the egg scramble with spinach and peas. Asked for it with egg whites. It was fine but a bit bland, then again, egg whites are. The summer squash was better and I used the sauce from that on my eggs. Staff was very friendly. I'd come back to try more non-brunch food.

We went there on Sunday for brunch. We made a reservation for noon, but it really wasn't necessary. Customers turn over quickly - they don't linger. It is small, but the tables are no closer than they would be in a Paris bistro. The noise level was reasonable. The service was pleasant and quick. The food was excellent, but the portions were quite small. Street parking is plentiful. If you are going to the Lucille Lortel theater on Christopher Street, as we were, it's only a pleasant three-block walk.
