Night Theater District
Ranked #250 of 470 Hotels in New York City
Reviewed February 26, 2014

Spent an evening at Night hotel this past weekend for a little rendezvous with my boyfriend. Online booking was easy and the price was right. Great value for a couples staycation in the city. I'm not a fan of Times Square but this hotel definitely does not embody the typical experience of the area as it is anything BUT touristy. We stayed in the king size room (#68 to be exact) that had adequate enough space for us. We didn't have luggage so extra storage was not an issue. Room was spotless and decor was very seductive. Bed was super comfortable and the lighting is very inviting. Staff at front desk was very friendly (Specifically a gentleman named Patrick!) and helped me with my small requests during the stay. One tip for anyone considering this hotel is that it is definitely NOT a place for kids. Everyone else, enjoy!

Room Tip: Stay in the King size room!

This was our 3 visit, hotel still VERY sexy.Ideal central location, just meters from times square. And across the road to mandatory IRISH pubs :0)
Hotel restaurant (Red Moon) lovely food (recommend the sea bass and red curry)
Drinks a little on the expensive side.....but to be expected.Rooms are slightly on the small side, but the decor more than makes up for it.Ideal for couples.Would definitely stay again......(IF WE GET A BABYSITTER)
Enjoy your stay

Everything in this hotel is back or white. The only exception we found was a red cushion on a chair at the bar. The attention to detail is amazing (black bath ropes, napkins, tiles), and the atmosphere with the dimmed light and lounge music throughout the hotel is really cool. If you are looking for colour or flowers this is not your hotel, but the service, overall quality, location and price are excellent, especially in NYC with so many options and choices. The hotel is in walking distance to everything, and we will definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: choose the ones that have bit wider gap between the hotel wall and the adjacent building, otherwise...

I've had the pleasure of staying at the Night Hotel several times over the past six or seven years. It had been a while since I've stayed and am happy to report this hotel is still EXCELLENT, and a great overnight experience for a Times Square hotel. The swanky black and white design of the entire hotel still works, its very nicely kept. My room was, as most NYC hotel rooms are, small but perfect for my needs. Comfy bed, with lots of amenities. I love returning to my room at night to find the lights set low, the radio tuned in, my bed turned down, robe laid out on the bed, and a square of chocolate on my pillow. I got a great rate of $104. for my 1-night-stay--Perfect for all this, yes? Check in/check out both speedy and just steps away from Times Square. Looking forward to returning here on my next business trip.

the rooms were very small. the design was kind of cool but still very small. The location was great as it is very close to Times Square. Good place for 2 or 3 nights. no real complaints so if you get this for a good price then go for it

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights over Super Bowl weekend. There were 3 couples traveling in our party. None of us had ever been to nyc before and were choosing a hotel somewhat blindly.

The location is excellent. Couldn't be beat. The rooms were great- clean and roomy enough. The hotel is dark and modern- definitely for couples.

The bar was great, as was the front desk staff and door man. Very helpful and friendly. The door man even arranged last minute Escalade airport transportation for our party when our limo could not pick us up due to a snow storm coming in.

Would definitely stay here again. There is also a great Irish bar - Connolly's- across the street. It was a trip we will never forget- especially with our epic Super Bowl victory! Thank you Night hotel and Go Hawks!!!

I've stayed in many hotels in New York and most leave me disappointed. I stayed here in December and it will now be my first choice for all my NY trips. The rooms are full of character and are perfect if you are in town with a companion, as you won't find a sexier room in the city
