Our waiter was excellent, he was very quick and attentive. We ordered the beef platter, pork belly, and an extra order of the rib eye. The rib eye was the star of the night, it was exquisite.

However we did feel a bit rushed and I wish there were more marinades for the beef (some cuts lacked flavor).

Would I come back here? Yes, absolutely. It's great for big groups too.

We arriived on a Friday evening with a party of 5 and waited nearly an hour. Once seated, the fun began! We ordered Korean beers and a large bottle of Soju for the table. Our group meal featured beef cuts grilled at table. Our waiter grilled the beef and suggested different sauces for each cut. We wrapped steak in lettuce with a delicious sauce, pickled onions and kimchi. We also ordered the kimchi pancake and loved every bite. Looking around at fellow diiners, we saw other dishes we can't wait to try, Next visit!

PROS: Service was very good. Friendly waitstaff who help you order. They used the team concept of service and everyone was very nice. Absolutely no issues with service.
Meat was well marbled and flavorful. Fair sized serving. Seafood pajun was good, nothing extraordinary. Daenjang stew was good.
Restroom was clean with another communal wash basin.
CONS: No banchan?? what the heck!! Just kimchi (which was very good). This was a major disappointment. C'mon guys, you gotta serve banchan.
One dollar for an extra bowl of rice? For this price just factor it in with the meal. Hey this isn't fast food.
CONCLUSION: while the meat and service was good, wont go back. Haven't been to Kunjip in years, but that was better.

Great K-BBQ place in Korea town. I think the menu (meat) price is about 5-10$ cheaper than other BBQ places. (good quality) Fun nostalgic deco inside. Very helpful and friendly staff. Can be very loud with 90's korean music tho and also from drunk birthday party patrons.

This restaurant caters to locals and is not tourist friendly. The prices are ridiculous for what you get. There was no explanation of how to properly eat the food. Very disappointing.
