A trip to NYC is not complete without going to Toloache. Great food and ambiance. The churros for dessert are amazing!

“Great food, service and atmosphere”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

We visited here on a recent trip to NY.
We had no reservations so just had a 10 minute wait.
We had the 3 sampler guacamole to start which came with loads of nachos and was really nice.
The margaritas were unusual and we really enjoyed them.
There is a great atmosphere in this place and it is reasonably priced.
As others have mentioned it is is quite busy and noisy so maybe not ideal for a romantic intimate dinner but we loved the lively atmosphere.

“great margaritas/tiny food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 14, 2013

I ate dinner here with two friends before the theater and the service was excellent, the food tasty and fresh but after two excellent margaritas, superb guacamole with delicious homemade corn chips and a short rib quesadilla, I was still hungry and eating chips.
At almost $60.00 per person, I don't think this is good value for the money.
I admit it was all good food with quality ingrediants but very small and pricey for me.

5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Went to Toloache with 3 friends post theater. Spicy guac, camarones, short ribs and skirt steak all well prepared, hot and great service (thanks Miguel !). Recommendations were spot on. One dessert was comped.

“Don't miss the house margarita!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 6, 2013

Great spot for a light bite or a full meal before the theater. The house margarita has hibiscus flowers as a garnish-really! It was simply wonderful. They offer a trio of guacamole options and all are excellent. Save room for the red velvet tres leches.
