Wonderful, authentic restaurant, with great food and atmosphere, just off the tourist trap zone. Worth wandering over to 8th for. Got this suggestion from Trip Advisor, and it was only a few blocks away, so tried it. We ended up going back our last day, for a special treat.
Italian, wonderful food and wines. I had the ravioli of the day, and it was extraordinary. Crab cakes were great. Bruscetta served complementary, and was quite good. Gnocci is recommended too. Service was friendly, and very unlike NY.
Priced like a good restaurant, but quite reasonable by NY standards -- and cheap almost compared to many of the supposedly good restaurants on 7th..
