This is truly a five star hotel. The service is impreccable from start to finish. We were upgraded to a larger room on the 21st floor. The decor of the hotel is tasteful, high quality, and not over-done. This is a wonderful retreat in the middle of NY city. Would love to go back again.

...We were drowning in a sea of beige (ecru, oatmeal, taupe, ivory, anthracite, and so forth). Don't those expensive designer hired hands know that a tiny blast of color every here and there can make even those neutered neutrals everywhere sparkle and shine? Seriously though, that is my lone critique. Yes, this place was as close to perfect, I think, as a New York city hotel can get.Quality everything- furniture, linens, fixtures, staff. It makes a difference. Beautiful nights of sleep, wonderful beds, and floor to ceiling windows with automatic multi-layered blinds, shades, sheers or curtains. Super friendly staff: kind, engaged, helpful, and genuine. They could have been pretentious, but no. From the front desk, to the lobby, to the bar and restaurant, employees were just perfect in their attitudes and how they treated guests. Thank you for that! Naturally, the location is hard to beat. And if you get the Hyatt credit card bonus with Chase, you can even manage to score a couple of free nights here. How sweet it is...

Room tip: You can't go wrong here, really.

Felt very tranquil and quiet-rooms were the best I have stayed in in Manhattan- totally worth it- this was a staycation for some R&R and I could literally just live in the massive bathroom. The staff were very nice- all smiles and "my pleasure." Nice if you want somewhere gorgeous and modern and private!

we stayed for 6 nights and our room was our home away from Sydney
Park Hyatt exceeded our expectation and were very satisfied with everything from Little details like slippers, mouthwash and the deep soaking tub and rain shower. We were not impressed with NYC and coming back to our room was our refuge and highlight of our NYC stay. We love the indoor pool and spa on 25th floor. Park Hyatt is just elegant and beautiful - beyond words.
