“Sweet to the Max”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2014

Had dinner on a Saturday night with the family. Even though it says you do not need reservations, they are HIGHLY recommended and easy to make using open table. We arrived a little early and when I checked about the wait, it was 90 minutes for a party of 4. The service was super friendly, but not super smart. For example, when you order an appetizer, you expect that to come out before the meal, not with or after the entree's. All of the food was tasty and well prepared. Be sure to be adventurous and try something like the waffle cheesesteaks! The portions were good and reasonable, especially for being in New York City. Of course the main reason to go is not for the meal but for the dessert. The dessert menu is outrageous. Everything from a chocolate pizza to fondue. It is great for kids of all ages and highly recommended.

“Heavenly food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014

We popped in here to try the chocolate after being told it was amazing, and decided to have a full lunch instead. I had a panini, and it was without doubt the best panini I've ever had! It was absolutely delicious, and the perfect size for lunch. I had my chocolate in the form of a chocolate martini, which was fabulous, the only problem being that afterwards I didn't have enough room for a proper dessert! Our waiter was great; really friendly and helpful. Can't recommend this restaurant enough!

“A must for kids”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 23, 2014 via mobile

Max Brenners in Union Square is a must for families. Usually the lines are long on the weekends but worth the wait. Highly recommend the chocolate marshmallow pizza and the chocolate syringe for dessert. You can keep the syringes! Even the mac and cheese comes with ketchup filled in a syringe. The food in general is average. You go here more for the experience and less for the food. Afterwards you are steps away from Union Square where there is a great farmers market and playground.

“Delicious birthday dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2014 via mobile

My friends and I went to Max Brenner's for my birthday and we were not disappointed. Our waitress was so helpful and nice. She helped my friend who is gluten free pick out things she could eat .I got the salmon which was delicious! But best of all were the desserts. My two friends got sundaes which were huge! So point of advice-share the sundaes ! I got the melting chocolate heart which was so good and presented in such a unique fashion. Everyone needs to go to Max Brenner 's at least once in their life!
