From the moment you walk in to the smell of chocolate, you know this is a good place to be. Went for Saturday Brunch and enjoyed every minute. The service was good, the atmosphere fantastic and the food was great. The Salted Caramel milk chocolate was so wonderful. This is a must for a meal if you come to NYC.

This place has been recommended to us by relative. We had an afternoon coffee over their. We ordered Hot chocolate and Mocha.and for deserts we ordered Tramisu and another dish (forget the name, though the picture attached).

We found that the place is amazing with all the chocolate bars and dishes. The service was also excellent. However, when it comes to taste our opinion that its average or even below. Taken into consideration the high price tag. Though I will still recommend friends and family to live the experience.

Amazing dishes!!
The quality of the chocolate is higher than I've expected! (i'm from Switzerland and i know what i'm saying!!)
However, the surrounding ambience lacks in quality.
Too many people waiting for a table, children getting nuts for a chocolate burger (literally don't stop screaming!), tourists taking pictures of the food and the stuff losing easly the patience (which I can comprehend after all!)
Eating those amazing stuff requires comfort and calm.
Please take the kids to McDonald!!!

Went with a lot of expectations and was not at all impressed.

First things first - Yes, the chocolate pipes, chocolate-y aroma, everything chocolate is very welcoming. The humungous crowd and long waiting makes you think the food would be out of this world.

Well, we had to wait for a long time before we got a table. The waiter was really annoying - Quite rude and inattentive. That was a big dampener!

The food was mediocre to the core. Though my husband and friend found the chocolate fondue good, I despised it. We had some white chocolate drink. That was the saving grace along with the potato fries which were very tasty!

Definitely not worth the wait and the money. There are many better restaurants in the Union Square area.

We made reservations for 11:15 Saturday night. Our table was waiting. The place is big and has quite a buzz. A very fun way to end a Saturday night in the city. It wasn't a place to linger, however. It's loud, the tables are close together and we just had the feeling our waiter's job was to move us in and move us out. We ordered dessert - although the main menu is quite extensive with lots of fun sandwiches made on waffles. The four of us each ordered something different and all the desserts come with their own set of parts and pieces - little classes, a big goblet, ramekins filled with sauces, etc. They were good, but not exceptional. Everything seemed to include one ingredient that didn't quite "fit" with the dessert. It was a fun experience but I don't need to go back.
